Yeah yeah, I searched. I don’t really know where to start with this. I want someone with a dyno who REALLY knows what they’re doing to spend as much time as needed to dial in my tune(s) - I want a number of switchable files for different circumstances including a 100+oct Race with a 7800 redline and intake runner tuning, Drag, Street and maybe others like Valet. I’ve been looking into HPTuners, but just don’t have the time or energy to learn it before the season starts. I want some pretty specific things tweaked as I’m about to do the bigger TBs and shorter rear gearing among other things (I want the car to behave in a very specific way on track), and I don’t mind driving anywhere in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic for the right place. Who has some suggestions? I do not want a remote tune - I want this to be done on the spot. Again, as long as it takes.

My first thought is BrenTuning up in MA. Good reputation but not sure of their experience with the M156.

Yeah thanks guys, that’s interesting as OE was on my list if I give up and do remote. I’m leaning towards Bren whether they use OE or not. It seems that they do know what they’re doing. Apparently they won the all-motor class at some competition in 2015/6 with 514rwhp (totally unverified just rumor). That’s good enough for me to give them a call to see what’s up.

My VB/TCU is already Weistec tuned, but if they have the ability to crack that then it’s another good sign.


I’ve heard that too, but the last few times they were supposed to come out East for these organized group tunes, they fell through AFAIK. I’ve been super happy with EC personally, but with all the silliness surrounding V6 and V7, I feel a bit turned off right now and want to try something different, more bespoke. I don’t know if I can get the kind of focused and personalized service out of EC that I could a local tuner without it being some kind of special event that the great Jerry is flying all the way out, you know? I suppose they should go on the list too....
