Hey guys I've read a lot in regards to the aux port on these cars, but I can't seem to find mine. The Ipod 30 pin is in the glove box, no aux. I opened the side panel also no aux. I do have the aux option when I go to select an input on my screen. any suggestion?

Open ur pass door, there is a panel at the end of the dash, kinda looks like a triangle, pull that plastic cover off and there you go.

By side panel, did you mean you already checked inside the glove box?

Yeah I opened the triangle shaped panel attached to the glove box. Nothing there.

In this picture the aux is accessed via a MB specific cable underneath the top left.
I use this for BT access and it workes perfectly...

Is Aux an either/or proposition with iPod enabled or can you unplug the iPod and still get true Aux by selecting Aux in the Comand menu?

I don't have an iPod so I wouldn't know the answer to the above question.

well actually. There was never an iPod connected in the time I've owned this car. There is still the aux option on my media display.

The audio 'option' #'s that show up for mine(that I can determine) are 512,518,536,810,u71 and may be different on yours?

Sorry, android here - no idea on ipod.
FWIW, I BT audio thru aux(no MB commands) with phone BT thru MB phone system and full control there.

Awesome I'll take a closer look, I wonder why this car doesn't have anything in the usual spots it's weird. It has the amg performance pack and all the other goodies.
