C63 507 $6-7k to spend on mods, suggestions?

Whats up guys, purchased my 63 about 9 months ago and overall couldn’t be more satisfied with my decision. There’s a lot of great modifications for this car but I am honestly not sure which ones to get first.

So far I have got a secondary cat delete replaced with stainless straights, ROW box, and an OE stage 1 tune.
It’s been a good year and I’ve got some extra cash to play with, so if you were in my position, what would you spend 6-7k on?

I am thinking of ARH long tubes + x pipe, which is almost 4K of my budget with the install. Besides that I’m thinking of after market diffuser, spoiler, lip, and maybe a sight tint on the tail lights paired with a chrome delete. I am keeping this car forever to give to my future son, so I don’t care about resale value.

Thanks guys, appreciate any input

You got the right idea. Headers are a great option. Use the rest of funds to lower the car on a decent set of springs or perhaps a quality coil over setup.

Hey thanks for chiming in man,

I think I’m going to do headers for sure and yeah I’m looking to drop 1-1.5 inches but I’m honestly not too familiar with suspensions and lowering cars. Do I need anything besides HR springs if I were to get them, like spacers all around or would I have no issues and rubbing stock?
Is this also a doable job for around 1k if I go with springs?

Thanks again

God I want a blower bad but I feel like it makes more sense to go full bolt ons and then slap it on. If I had 20k I’d do that, if I had 40k I’d put a black series kit on too 😖😭 expensive hobby man

There is a guy who put a blower on his car without headers and made 600+ whp. With that type of money, I would wait and get the ESS kit. Your car already looks great. Get the ESS Kit. Granted you may need an extra 2-3k for extra parts and install/labor fees.

Built 2008 G55 & one big 80 Series LandCruiser !
Congrats on the car -

my thoughts if you don't go with a blower...
  • Headers are solid gains for the $ spent....
  • Eibach bars if still avail along with ultra racing fornt /rear tie bars sorted my ride so that I don't want to lower it now.....
  • you look to be in Cold climes so E85 might not be an option - but the gains per $ are amazing if you have access to Ethanol and can live with a cold blooded beast...
  • Billet Pulleys are good PM and offer some gain if you do the Underdrive main ( and do the tensioner while in therefor complete PM)
  • LSD if yours didn't come with it.... my next mod.
  • Wrap the chrome - easily done for 300-400 by a good shop - on a black car it'll really transform the look. Carbon fiber I'd think less so - so maybe save that $$

holy **** just dived into the thread where the guy with similar mods to mine made 640+ to the wheels with the kit. God fking damnit man I was saving up for a year to get long tubes, and now I might have to just save up for another 3-6 months for a proper whipple. Thank you dude didn’t know about this til today so I’m still kind of torn between long tubes with coil overs vs SC. cosmetics and sound vs pure performance. I could run 10 seconds all day on street tires damn

Supercharge it. If I could do it again I’d leave everything stock and just supercharge it. You end up almost spending the same money as FBOs and in the end you have less horsepower FBO. I like the ess kit the best but check this out. https://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/-p-...iABEgLfGPD_BwE

right on budget.

yooo that is right on the money there. Man I came from a C300 with 228 HP, to a 500 HP C63 and now possibly 700+ with a blower... the power progression is crazy haha I don’t know if I can handle it, sometimes my current mods have me scared. 😂😂
im gonna guess most people are FBO over supercharged because they modify over time, instead of dropping 7-8k at once. Right now this is a damn hard choice to make.

+1 ESS supercharger has some of the best gains and honestly looks the best in my opinion.

Then when you're done you can take off and sell it for at least $4k back

If your looking for performance then blower is the way to go. I am also a new owner to a p31 and the power for me is still unpredictable and I don’t have any interest in getting more mods to increase power. I am gonna do some cheap cosmetic stuff before I get power upgrades.

But if the power is not enough for you and you want more then get a blower and you will never regret it.

Supercharger is where most c63 owners wish they can end up. You have the means, I say do it. My car is full bolt on, v7, catted arh, rows, magic spacers, magic pulley, idlers and E85 kit thats sold as plug and play but really isnt (never intalled). The power is great but to be honest I'm getting used to it and slightly losing interest. I don't like the fact that ANY modified forced induction car can almost keep up with it.

Any forced induction car? Come on. Get the e85 kit installed and dyno tune it it’s worth it. No supercharger but you already have the e85 kit install it.

Yeah, I was being a bit dramatic.
