Is this a volunteer non-paid job? And you have to stand for 8 hours?
I mean I would love to do this and can even see volunteering, but standing for 8 hours can be painful for me.

I believe it is through volunteering, thats how it's done at my local track, and we are thankful for them!

Payed job - VIR employee... 30 hours max per week.... yes on station at least 8 hours - 8am to 5pm... I’m a 65 year old retiree and yes hard on the legs...

Looks like a fun way to spend some time at the track. I've done a bunch of instructing even on days when I wasn't driving just to be in the atmosphere.

Great shots Duffer and cool gig. I am also in VA but haven't taken my whip down to VIR yet.

Do you know C. Wilson? He is also an instructor there and is my neighbor and good friend (white Bimmer).
