How are those fronts going to work with tires on them?
I have to send out the top plates to get machined out to be able to bring them in more. I have KMAC lower bushings to bring the bottoms in as well. The whole car is on air ride, so this is the max drop height. Once that's established, I'll check clearance for travel as the tire should tuck in behind the fenders. Then, I'll raise the car up to ride height and then get an alignment to get back to as close to a stock alignment as possible.

It was about time someone picked up the ideea of the Ronal Penta of the 80's, updated it and made it available for our cars. Back in the day, I was thinking that 560 SEC's on Ronal Penta were the nicest car on the nicest wheel.
I don't like the slammed/stanced look and sadly there's not one image of a car available on the web with these wheels that has not been stanced/slammed.
Is this a new wheel, or this model has been around? I think the new price is a bit high.
I mean, the Ronal Penta was for Mercedes in the '80's what AMG was for Mercedes. There was a lot more than just .. coincidence that many cars were equipped with it. There was synergy there, behind the scenes.
I mean the C111 was sitting on Ronal Penta's and that CANNOT be a coincidence.

The car is on air ride and we're just getting fitment sorted for maximum drop height. Should the air ride fail, it won't come crashing down onto the body work. The car will be raised to a reasonable low drive height and camber adjusted back to OEM as possible to get a good contact patch.
As for the wheels. When I started this build, I wanted to incorporate some historical structural design element from AMG. I wanted Ronal Pentas but they didn't come in the size specs I was looking for. That's how I came across these Rotiform PNT's which were inspired by the original Penta wheel. There are other variants of this wheel like Fifteen52's Bermiesters. But these are pretty darn close and customization as they are 3-piece machined wheels. I believe these Rotiform PNT's have been available for about 5-6 years? I have not seen them on many cars and initially came across them because the owner of Rotiform had an E63 wagon and I guess he had them commissioned for that same reason?
