European owners: factory fire extinguisher location and pictures
I seem to recall that in EU, at least at one point in the past, owners need to carry a fire extinguisher mandatory.
The W204 C63 already comes with the traditional 1 ft reflective triangle hazard sign, which you're supposed to place behind the car (it stands) when yoiu install the spare wheel, if you have a flat. That is normally installed inside the lid of the trunk and you have access when the lid is up. This is why in the datacard there is an entry "deletion of hazard sign", as for America ..... they delete it.
You can buy the parts from the european spec and re-install. Mercedes may not even oppose these be ordered through the US parts outlets, as this is a safety thing and they could in theory be sured if they deny.
With this said: can any European owners post pictures of where this car has the fire extinguisher? maybe this too can be ordered.
Oh, also there is a medical kit that is mandatory. My car has it, although the card says it's deleted. I'm not the first owner.

I searched for it once and found all the parts. Just FYI the extinguisher is EXTREMELY small. If you’re looking for something that might actually put out a fire, look elsewhere because the MB one is unlikely to put out anything but a match. Seriously. Now, the OEM is small and light, but maybe is packed with .... Halon?
Maybe uses a higher pressure storage technology?
Maybe there are fire extinguisher standards which are different US-EU?
Maybe this thing uses so many different features (as compared to US standards) that it has no chance at compliance but has a really good chance at putting fire out ?
It’s to small for all but the smallest flames... case in point.
i mounted the same setup in a BMW 1976 2002 restoration... the day I picked the car up after the final wheel alignment... 11 miles later..

No. The OEM extinguisher has exactly zero chance of putting a fire out. It’s just for show.
