C63 vs C350 differences?
Maybe you can help me clear up a few points. I really don't understand the major difference between a c63 and a c350. I know that a difference is the engine, but otherwise, are there any other real differences? Both use the same chassis (family sedan car), and perhaps the c63 has stiffer suspension, but that can be easily upgraded in a c350. Just trying to understand the additional cost of the c63 over the c350.

Certain body parts (wider front fenders, hood, bumpers, ground effects and spoilers, etc)
A better question would have been what’s the same. That list is shorter. Chassis, interior, most of the body panels.

Engine: Airflow/exhaust mods, too much forced air for long-term internals to make it long, and a tune sufficient to give you an extra 150 crank hp: $8-10k
Best-case scenario, you have a car with less torque, a much shorter peak HP curve, and have blown 12-15k on mods in a car that still won't outrun a C63 in any scenario, and you can only romp a few times before you are buying new car...

I’m sure I’m missing dozens of others things. If you want to go that route, go ahead, but expect to pay easily over $15,000 to mod your 350 into a 63. In the end, you still won’t have an AMG.

I'll be gutting my C63 soon for a race car project. Hit me up if you need some interior bits on the cheap!
It looks a lot easier on paper than it actually is. Unless you're willing to spend a ton of time on all of these "easy" steps...probably just trade for a c63
