Brake Vibration - need help

So, I replaced all rotors and pads on all 4 corners about 2 months ago. Got the parts from FCP Euro, and the install seemed to go well.
I have about 2k miles on them since purchase (ive had to drive out of town twice) and ive noticed an dramatic shake when breaking at speeds over 30 mph.
When i first wore them in, they were smooth, but I didn't wear them in at higher speeds until a few days after installation. they are Zimmermans (drilled and slotted) and are the rotors and pads the company recommended for my 2012 C63 DP based on my VIN. they did not have Bembros that would fit.

Unless I get some feedback from the community, I fear that I will need to buy a new set up, and since Id need a different manufacture, the lifetime replacement from FCS wouldn't really matter (?).

so - my questions are s follows:
1. anyone ever have issues like this - if so, why, and what was the resolution
2. has anyone had experience with Zim's? good/bad?
3. has anyone had any experience with FCS and returning parts for their replacement guarantee with a Different part than originally purchased?

I could really use some feedback here. thanks guys!

C55 AMG T with Kleemann K2 and some stuff: 414 hp and 562 Nm :-)
To be cautious the first times I thought would be enough, but not this!
Thank you very much!

You can warp a rotor by hitting a puddle after hard braking too. Happened to me with like only 30k on some OEM P31 rotors.

I had the same issue with two sets of Zimmerman front rotors even after proper break-in like 5-6 months after install.

I returned both sets for a full refund to FPC Euro and bought factory one piece rotors for like $400 bucks.

I am still running Zimmermans with in the rear.

The best thing was I upgraded my PorterField RS4 pads in the front to Endless MX72. They are worth the price.

I replaced all 4 rotors with the Zimmermans from FCP about 9 months ago, all good so far.

Did you get the hub nice and clean before locating the rotors on? If any rust or debris remained, could cause some shudder as would not be sitting flush to the hub face.

wheels would also shake in this instance at all speeds and not just during braking.

Mine (drilled and slotted) from FCP E have worked out great. No difference whatsoever from OE.

Rotors can warp for a variety of reasons. Have a shop check the rotor run out, then diagnose what is warped. If it is the rotor, you will wind up replacing it, especially if they are drilled/slotted.

I have also seen over torqued lug bolts cause a rotor to distort slightly and cause a vibration so if someone went to town with an impact gun can also cause an issue.

Rotors don't warp.

Vibration is caused by uneven pad material on the surface, or, less likely for a street car, uneven rotor wear which generally indicates a more serious issue.

When replacing the rotor, once the old rotor is out, before the new rotor goes in, clean the possible rust ridge that may have formed on the seating area of the hub.
If the new rotor is not seating 100% right, this can fast track it into warping early too.

And do yourself a favor by wire brushing the hub clean and giving it a coat of high temp antiseize before installing the new rotor

No? Then what is it when they get... wavy and uneven? Genuinely curious, didn't know I've been ignorant on this.

What I said in what you quoted lol. Uneven pad material left on the rotor surface is the most common case.

Tons of info available on it. Sure, if you buy super cheap garbage from China with poor QC there's a chance you could get a defective one that actually warps.
