If anyone's interested in joining a group buy, this GB is for a wireless Joyeauto Apple CarPlay/Android Auto retrofit kit for the 2008-2011 MB C, E, GLK NTG 4.0 and 2012-2014 MB A, B,C E, GL, GLA, GLK, ML, CLA NTG4.5, please add you name to this list.
I need a minimum of 10 people, to get the best discount of $335 USD each (normally $448) for the NTG4.0 and $315 USD each (normally $395) for the NTG4.5 plus $20 for DHL express shipping directly to you. Money will be paid directly to Joyeauto, not to me. I will provide contact info for the rep from Joyeauto, funds will be paid by PayPal for your protection.

According to the site, Android Auto is not supported. It says all that is supported for Android is mirroring and it doesn't say if that can be done wirelessly or not.
If you could please clear this up for me I may be interested for an NTG4.5 unit.

From what I gather, it supports CarPlay wired/wirelessly, but Andriod Auto is wired only. This may be a deal breaker for some. I found more info on this page: https://www.joyeauto.com/mercedes-be...play-solution/

Will do. This unit is mainly for owners who have HU with NTG 4.0 and wish to use with CP. AA users require a wired connection. For NTG 4.5 or higher, there are better solutions. Sorry for the confusion...

What other options are there for 4.5 or better? The only things I really see are the Android replacement head units.

My two cents:
It appears there is a newer version of this unit which offers a "cleaner" install and less glitches. This unit is $50 cheaper than the group buy price for the FL W204s via AliExpress, https://tinyurl.com/ya8fbfnu. The newer version is also available and cheaper on Amazon, https://tinyurl.com/ybq9lfhd
Since I'm pretty sure you have a family relationship with Joyeauto, how about revisiting this group buy with them? If they can get the updated unit and a competitive price, we can throw some purchases their way.

Here's my take on all this: Since I have the older HU NGT4.0, my choices are very limited. For those of you that have NTG 4.5 or higher, there are better choices out there, i.e., Road Top, Andream etc. imo.

It would seem to me that since you're already in contact with them, you might consider mentioning this pricing discrepancy and let them know that you don't want to get a worse price for your group buy than they offer directly through Alibaba.
By the time you factor in $20 shipping, you're getting fleeced.
