People like me......?
I'm not complaining. It's called feedback.
If VRP would have handled an experience I have made with them differently, all the feedback would be neutral or even positive.
But VRP doesn't stand behind their poorly reversed engineered products and as long as that is the case, I will continue to provide feedback so new members stay informed and cautious.

We will be happy to get you a new elbow if you still need it. Email Info@vrpspeed.com.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Interested to see pricing and true info on this product. In the end tuning will be at least 2k so 2500 below everyone else not sure would cut it for me I’d likely go with another kit. I’m standing by ready to hear full details

And don't worry, I only added to this thread because of my poor experience as well. I was sold a product, used as directed. The product was complete crap, would have totaled the car and these mo's decided to handle the issue by changing the description online after the fact. Good luck to the buyers because you literally are telling them they have zero support when buying your products.
At a dollar a post, I have a good few hundred more to participate in![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
So, in this supercharger FOR SALE SOON thread buyers shall be forewarned that beyond the sale, there is ZILCH

It is the only kit to run the Gen 5 whipple, (3l instead of 2.9l) and it will also have the largest intercoolers of any company. I think we are targeting closer to 1500 for the tune, Our Standard NA tune is only $999

We Have replaced the Catch can fitting in question with an elbow, But again, This thread, And 90% of the other threads you comment on, Are not relating to that product or the component in question, I dont think a picture of leaf blowers qualifies as feedback either but thats just me.
We will be happy to get you a new elbow if you still need it. Email Info@vrpspeed.com.

Two years later you want to give me a new fitting, interesting.....
I'm surprised that you didn't delete this thread yet and started a new one.

Congrats for taking this on.
Based on your statement of "We will offer packages, And we will also sell the supercharger by itself with nothing. No tuning, No cooling, just the supercharger." I assume that it will not ever be EO (CARB compliant) & not legal in CA & some other states. Certainly no chance of compliance in Aussie.
I wish you well... especially when the EPA come knocking.

Just ask Borla exhaust or any of the other companies that have been fined (millions) for doing that.
I know this from first-hand experience - there is no work-around for the manufacturers & the risk gets higher every year.

We have discontinued most exhaust products for that reason as well, This Supercharger does not "modify emissions control systems" so as far as we know there shouldn't be an issue. But all exhaust is pretty much dead.

Go with the ESS kit.
Parts are higher quality, install looks clean, and I haven't had any issues with it (knock on wood) after 2 years.
Two things:
The ESS SC kit has a closed loop cooling system (did I use that term correctly?) use a different color coolant from the engine (I chose red) so if there's a leak, you'll know which system it's leaking from.
Get an oil catch can, something about the plumbing in the back of the motor makes tings tricky with the ESS kit, installing a catch can will simplify this install.

Looks like ESS took their kit off their website.

Again our kit uses Hellcat Intercoolers, Which have already supported almost 950 whp on the Hellcats with their stock IHI blower, The 3.0 whipple is a considerable upgrade to that unit and much more efficient.
