PTG 4L Supercharger Thread
The goal at PTG was to design and produce the biggest and best supercharger system for the M156, and the result is nothing short of just that. Link to System below..

Some technical info on the system:
- 1,300HP Capable System with complimentary modifications
- 4.0 Liter Twin Screw Compressor Unit
- Cast Aluminum Symmetrical Runners
- Cast Aluminum SC Inlet and Manifold
- Auxiliary 8-Rib Drive belt developed with ATI Racing
- ATI Crank Damper
- Billet Aluminum Top Lid w/ Custom Color Options
- 1/2 Inch Billet Fuel Rails
- Billet Snout Cradle
- Massive intercooler and heat exchangers for proper cooling
- 1215cc Fuel Injectors
- Verstand OBD Flash Tool and Software Included
This thread would be pointless without photos so here you have it!

After a very long 2 years of downtime (waiting for many parts from many vendors, due to covid, shops closing due to covid), and other factors, my C63 507 coupe engine build with PTG SC is almost complete. I am dying, absolutely dying, to get my car back.
This if for the C63 m156 507 coupe with fully built / forged internals and custom sleeved engine, PTG race camshafts, and much more..can't wait.

does anyone know if vrp is developing a 3.8L kit? Gen 5 rotors are a big leap, flow better and much cooler
It is a mistake to use a toothed belt (cogged) drive on any twin-screw/Roots supercharger - the multi-rib ensures that there is some slippage available for "overrun" or deceleration situations such as ultra-fast gear changes and rev-limiter bouncing. Many superchargers have been destroyed by the inertia of the rotors fighting a 'direct-drive' deceleration. I took some high-speed video of what happens to the supercharger belt on rev-limiter bouncing... it was scary enough to change my driving style.
The 4.0 is a nice alternative to the ones already available and should be able to make more power than the others on the market thus far.
