PCV replacement question
Has anyone actually changed their own PCV using this link/method

I've tried for days and can't get to the back side of this thing. There is no room and I really don't want to pull the manifold until you guys say it's impossible

Removing the intake isn't that bad at all, just buy the new gaskets and bolts before you do the work. It's more work, but well worth the time saved and lack of blood loss. Good time to do injectors while you're in there.

My friend who works as a mechanic at MB dealership for over 20 years is talking me out of injectors even though you... As well as others have recommended it

You can search this forum and find more than few threads where people have had injectors fail before 60k.
I replaced mine at 75k.
Your car, but if i remember correctly injectors were like 400-500 bucks for bosch oem replacements so not really that expensive.

I agree do the injectors, not worth hydro locking a motor as they are know to fail and they are typically pretty crusty even by 40k miles.
It is basically impossible to do the PCV without taking the intake off and if you some how manage it, it takes 5 times longer, super easy to remove the intake and the intake gaskets are prone to leaking anyway so worth doing and if your PCV needs replaced you might as well clean the intake manifold as it will be full of oil anyway so you can do what when it is off also.

Mileage at a certain point is irrelevant. Several factors such as what fuel is used, how you drive your car, do you have a catch can and how long have you had it.
I did mine at 125k km ish and they looked excellent.
