M156 P0300 Misfires when warm
For what its worth, theres no way that pic is a factory splice either, right? Looks like a solder repair someone did at some point.
That tech is claiming it was a factory splice. Seems like enough similarity between the issues on that car and yours to warrant a look, IMO.
Phantom issues on European cars often lead to something electrical being the culprit, no?

I kinda agree with this guy... the word "exhaust" kept ringing in my head after watching you troubleshoot this issue. Like he said, it doesn't hurt to try - remove the X-pipe and see how she likes it.
Best of luck!

Can you swap the cam solenoid from left to right cylinder head or borrow a r/h solenoid from someone just to try it on your engine.

Where is everyone getting Xentry from? I see a few downloads on Etsy for ~$20. I ordered the Tactrix Openport 2.0. Will be running on my windows 10 laptop.

Exact. Same. Issue. No change at all.
Checked and cleaned all of my grounds, some of which had some corrosion. Still no change.
Might pull the ECU apart and look for damage and/or send it off for testing. Not sure what else it could be at this point. Very frustrating.
In the meantime i've found the wiring diagrams for the engine harness and have started checking all of that. Continuity and resistance values. Nothing out of the ordinary so far.
Assuming the ECU is fine, once I get it back I am going to install an oil pressure gauge and make sure that is in spec as well.
Any ideas what else to check? Knock sensors? Gas pedal sensor? i really dont think this is a coil pack issue since i've swapped coil packs around and the misfires don't change, but anyone know what pins I could probe on the coils to check resistance?
