Add LTHs, which removes primaries, remove the center resonator, add an H-pipe in its place and leave secondaries or add hi-po cats because the smell will be crazy otherwise.

If you are doing things on a budget all I can recommend is leave things as they are. You don't really need extra noise, but perhaps set some money aside for further down the road. Maintenance of these "beasts" can take large chunks out of your wallet.
Just my 2cts.... but enjoy the experience

After owning mine since new for 12 years and hearing loads of different exhaust set ups in person there are only two that sound good imo.

- Secondary cat delete with straight pipes and rest of exhaust system stock.

- Headers (MBH or ARH) with or without cats with secondary cat delete with straight pipes and rest of exhaust system stock.

Everyone is going to have different opinions but those two keep the amg tone while increasing the volume, all other options or brands change the 63 amg tone either by material thickness, material, header design or by messing with the resonator or mufflers which is a big no for me as it makes them sound awful.

+1 for the "Secondary cat delete with straight pipes and rest of exhaust system stock." That's what I have done to mine and it's great. Also lower your rear seats, it will help increase the noise (dead serious).

This is spot on, best and only way to keep the amg v8 sound.

If you want to delete the resonator I have a C63 with the resonators cut out and replaced with straight pipes. Would love to trade with you for a stock exhaust. Only one pipe has to be swapped.

no, I want the whole unmodified pipe that includes the resonator and right muffler. It's one piece all the way up to the front where it mates with the secondary cats.

There should be levers in the trunk that you pull (similar to image I found). It will pop, then you can go and fold them down. There is also a line/break in between the seats that shows that each fold down.

Just search for the center resonator if that's what you're after. Cutting and welding it in is so easy the whole section is overkill. My PO took it off and I added it back on with some hi-flow cats for smell. I can tell you to.lool elsewhere because it did absolutely nothing for sound control. Didn't change the tone or volume at all.
I've read our mufflers are actually just huge resonators and you'd need to find something to replace them if you want less noise. Trust me when I say that extra resonator does nothing. It does contain the stock H-pipe, so there's that. 🤷‍♂️

none of you are understanding me. My car has the resonator cut out and replaced with a straight pipe. The muffler is the same and stock. The only modification is the resonator. It's a bolt on, bolt off piece and doesn't require welding or cutting. Just replace that one pipe in the picture I showed. I'm offering to meet up, and swap just the one pipe. My P31 still has the factory, stock, unmodified mufflers. Only the resonator and the internal h-pipe was cut out. All I want is to trade that entire exhaust pipe, straight pipe and right side muffler for your stock, unmodified resonator and muffler. Cash on top is fine.

No, I understand that just fine, you already have the muffler, why do you need another?

he wants a muffler w/ the original resonator still attached & not welded back on; but i get you what you're pitching, weld the resonator back on and it makes no difference.

LTH will remove primaries and secondaries, unless you want to weld the secondaries back into the mid pipe.
Only option is to add high flow sport cats into the mid pipe.
