Nice, please do share your pictures of the track day, as for the firm it is a trade off for having a sporty suspension, I mean the W205 was worse so it is an improvement on the W206, I do think the R232 SL 43's suspension would be better though.

I'm really happy to hear that. I suppose people's definition of "sports car" are very different, but at the very least, it's got a little personality to it. The firm ride definitely lends more to the sporty persona, so I definitely do not see it as a bad thing.

I still want one but so many things are telling me it's not worth it.

I am actually interested too, there are lots to like about it, I am just weighing on the options and see if the compromises like you mentioned plus some were worth it, I heard the car pulls better at high RPM surprisingly than our W205s so that was interesting.

One big compromise being people claiming the transmission is very jerky around town, like in stop and go traffic? Was the transmission issue solved though?

Wow...even if it was for 4 years its not worth it. I went through a ton of tires and 1 cracked rim through 4 years with my C43 that I have right now. I don't even think that added up to $4500. Also, there's all the $50 deductibles or whatever it is that you'd have to pay with the wheel tire warranty which would take the total cost to well over $4500.
Did you ask how much tires and rims are for your car? I'm assuming you have the 20" wheels right?

Still hard to justify 4500.
If i get the c43, im going with the 18s. Cant wait to have less tire and wheel worries.
My old c43 has the 19s and I went through too many flats and a bent rim within 2 years. I'm done.

The new 20s easily will cost 1200 - 1800 each from dealer.

The 20s look amazing, but it really is going to depend on what your government does with your tax money. If they're making a concerted effort at maintaining the roads in your area, you're good. If they're taking that money and building useless infrastructure like hospitals and schools, then you'd better get the 18s
