Dang that sucks. What did they offer you for your wheel and tire package?

Lol really? For a 2023 C43 (new body style).

Big difference between someone saying $4500 and you saying $1850. $1850 is very fair if true. That is similar to what was offered for the old C43s.

You will definitely get full use of it if you get anything other than the 18s. So many people blow out those wheels that there are few front wheels available on the used market.

Yes, I know. I have 19s on my current C43. My question is how much was the wheel / tire warranty for your new car when it was offered up to you on the date of purchase?

I've heard two different amounts so it doesn't make sense. a 3rd answer would be helpful.

don't believe everything you read on the internet. lol. Especially, if someone is 100% sure of something.
The MB insurance for 20 for 3 years is $4500. You can call your dealer and confirm.
There are other insurers but they are not MB.

Price of insurance is not an opinion though, it is what it is.
the opinion is whether or not not get it, which depends on so many factors, like the type of tires, the weight distribution, the roads, the seasons you drive on them and many others.
We haven't had any reports on here yet about any problems, but it's been only a few months since they came out.

Sucks to go through auto insurance but auto insurance will cover wheel damages from potholes, like a cracked or bent wheel. Better then forking out 2k sometimes.

Sure but what happens after multiple claims? Premium will go up. Also, add in your deductible and it does not make sense.

It is also possible that once it goes up as well, premium goes up for not at fault accidents here which is ridiculous or maybe just my insurance company.

Of course with multiple wheel replacements things get bad. So i guess one can just hand over 4500. It truly depends.

Yes but the premium may not rise that high as suspected. 4500 is a lot.

I've seen premium change by only 29 dollars for a 6 month policy. Deductible was 250. So it truly depends on situation and how crap your insurance is. And how many claims youve been sending.

Went to a dealer today in NJ. Also saw one car with the "urbo" badge (missing the letter T).

Is the "T" supposed to be loose from factory or the adhesive is weaker for some reason? Does wind blow it away?

No idea, I feel like it's an issue with a really small amount of adhesive on the T, making it easy to twist off. Mine feels solid enough but if you catch the point, it definitely could rip easier than the other letters.

I don't understand though, I thought the whole badge gets "stamped" on the car with an aligner and stuff. How is only the "T" affected. Tag, your it!

1. Anyone place an order recently for a '23 model? If so, what's your wait time?
2. Besides @Kinematic, anyone else have experiences with a dealer in NJ?

Picking my C43 up on Monday. Starling blue with both Night packages. For those wondering about pricing, was able to negotiate $1500 off MSRP. Will take pics and upload to this thread on Monday. Also, I did not order this car. It was already within dealer inventory.

Thanks for heads up. In my area they can't sell them as of recently. Trying to negotiate around 2k off of one thats been sitting since they arrived to states. Congrats on your ride and enjoy

Yeah that was the approach I took too. There were around 90 of them within a 500 mile radius from me so it’s not like these cars are in short supply. Good luck on your negotiations!
