New member, first post...I've ordered a C43 AMG. This will be my first Mercedes. I currently own a '21 m340i. I decided to switch because BMW just had to replace the transmission at 23k miles! While I love the performance of the m340, the trim just doesn't come close to the C43 and BMW doesn't offer any matte color in the m340, iirc they are reserved for the M3.
My build (modified an existing dealer allocation) is as follows:

K31: Noise regulations as per ECE R51-03
From what I can tell - US cars should be the same as EU cars but it would be cool if this wasn't the case. (both codes are in lower half, ctrl+f if you don't want to read through).

With the above info, maybe the car I saw in person was an EU specced car (with OPF) because it did not sound like this. May also be a contributing factor for the delays at VPC.

totally normal - night package includes tinted windows in EU - that is illegal(not sure if that's the right word) here in the states. No front windows come factory tinted here in the states.

Usually, sedans don't get any factory tint on the side windows either. The sunroof always seems to be tinted at least slightly. This is consistent with the car I saw in person.

Wish the wife and kids would embrace a SEDAN over the SUV.
We watched the MB plant in Vance, AL get built (wife's best friend from the Blood Bank of NY Research Facility abroad took a position at UAB) and even had the original ML320 on order. Cancelled it and got my dream truck: a 1999 Chevy Tahoe 2dr that the wife conveniently hijacked after first kid came on the scene. Recently drove a fully loaded GLC300 loaner for nearly 70-days and 3000 miles un-Enchanted all over New Mexico...I'm glad MB switched C-Class production to South Africa!
If the C43 Touring ever got certified for the North American Market would instantly trade the wife's CRV Hybrid...in a Parallel Universe where she would also embrace my love of driving instead of short trips to her USDA gig in Athens GA, the Big Box Stores for Stuff, and Gardening Supplies.

if cars are to be released 2/28 - then anyone with performance seats that has been an early adopter will have their cars very shortly after the first US customer receive theirs
I am loving the graphite + 19s the more I see it. Feels like we are finally getting to the final stretch. The idle sounds pretty decent on the video as well.
I used the configurator on the French website and it had the AMG Dynamics package and it added Race mode to the car. My CLA45 had the same option and it included race mode.

The C43 isn't even on the French version of the site. Not sure what you were configuring or where - but as far as I know, race mode is not available on the W206 C43 and the Dynamics package is not an option.
