If anyone can confirm the dealer release date on your completed builds - that is where I previously got the 2/28/23 date that seemed to be when cars would be released from VPC (aka people would start taking delivery of their built cars).

The sooner cars start moving out of VPC the better for us all!
I am also a 2/3/23 build date still and have the performance seats as part of the config. I configured/receive the PO number on 6/16/22, for anyone else looking for reference.

Girl question here lol. Anyone know what the 251 Increased in Top Speed is? Does it have to do with R01 performance tires?
155 (w/ R02 tires), 165 (w/ R01 tires)
R02 is 18"
R01 19" and 20"

That's a good sign - maybe just less availability than initially forecasted and our early builds will stay on target. I would be pretty demoralized if my build got pushed another 2 or 3 months.

Knowing you guys ordered much earlier in ‘22 than I did, I totally expect your build dates to stay on track. Since I didn’t order til Sep, I’m a product of the ripple effect I believe and expected my build date to slide a bit. I’m just hoping to get this in my garage before Jul with zero build omissions!

What is your build? Did you add the studio pack or the performance seats?

This post has the build sheet with it - 20 inch wheels listed as "double spoke" (loosely translated)

Lunar blue wagon: https://www.autoscout24.ch/de/d/merc...tingPosition=4

my experience with this color is not as dark as depicted. I actually fell in love with this color when I first saw it and almost ordered a previous car with it. Very classy and rich blue

Hey Everyone - Happy New Year!

I received my VIN# and order sheet up here in Canada. MSRP for the C43 north of the border is $80,900.00. That's quite an increase from previous generations. It definitely caught me a little by surprise. We don't get as many customizable options up here, but here's what I ordered:

C43 4M - C43 AMG 4MATIC Sedan, High Tech Silver Metallic with Black ARTICO/DINAMICA w/Red Stitching Interior
DP2 - Premium Plus Package
- Head-Up Display
- MBUX Multimedia System
- Augmented Reality for Navigation
DA1 - AMG Driver's Package
- AMG Real Performance Sound
- AMG Performance Steering Wheel in Nappa/DINAMICA
- 19" AMG 5-Twin-Spoke Wheels
- Speed Limiter Raised to 265 KM/H
DN1 - AMG Night Package
- AMG Night Package
- Omission of Privacy Glass
DN2 - AMG Stealth Package
- Darkened AMG Grille
- Badging in High Gloss Black
- AMG Night Package II
DL1 - Intelligent Drive Package
- Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC
- Advanced Driving Assistance Package
- Acitve Lane Keeping Assist
- Active Steering Assist
- Active Speed Limit Assist
- Active Blind Spot Assist
- Active Emergency Stop Assist
- PRE-SAFE PLUS
- Active Lane Changing Assist
- Enhanced Stop and Go
- Map-Based Speed Adaptation
- Lane Keeping Assist Rear Sensors
- Evasive Steering Assist
D21 - Green Levy Tax (Price TBD)
RZY - 20" AMG 5-Twin-Spoke Wheels (Matte Black)
R01 - Summer Performance Tires
MET - Metallic Paint
INT - ARTICO Interior
51U - Black Fabric Roof Liner
H64 - Metal Weave Trim
795 - Metal Weave Centre Console

At the time of ordering, I was not able to get the Studio Package or Perf Seats, though at this point I don't think I would have went of either of them anyway.
Also, it's interesting to note that I have an expected delivery date of March 2, 2023, though I would take that with a huge salt mine.

It's in the CDN order guide (attached)
I'm actually quite interested in seeing how the car performs with the 20" wheels vs. the 19". Traditionally, you give up a bit on the ride quality and handling responsiveness, but with the 4WS that the C43 comes with, the latter may not be as much of an issue.

I’d like to start off by wishing everyone a happy and healthy new year.

Haven’t commented in this thread for a while and here’s why:

Brief timeline of my order:

5/18 - Configured my build with my SA to incl studio package

7/5 - Docu signed and remitted deposit

10/8 - Received a build date of Nov 18

11/10 - Informed no studio package; this was a deal breaker for me.

My SA reached out to MB to see if we could tack on the studio package to an open allocation; we didn’t get a definitive answer, but it was looking like mid to late summer delivery of a studio package car.

Meanwhile, I had been driving my Corvette the entire summer/fall and completely neglected my c450. When I fired it up in early Dec after nearly six months of inactivity, the brakes and rotors were shot.

With 90k miles and mechanical issues compounding, I decided to trade the car while the used car market had some life.

I’ve had my eyes on the e63s since 2018, but never seriously considered buying one due costs, maintenance and fuel consumption.

However, there was a well maintained example locally that I had been eyeballing for weeks. In the back of my mind I always told myself that if the price of a used e63s falls to the price range of my c43 (~70k), I would pull the trigger.

Well I did so and didn’t look back. I negotiated favorable terms for the purchase price, received a relatively high offer on trade, then found myself behind the wheel of a 600hp plus AMG.

I don’t want to derail this thread any further, but just wanted to share that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this thread and the contributions of the forum members. I will remain subscribed and I look forward to seeing pics of each and every one of your deliveries!

$80k Canadian is only a bit more then previous gen. With inflation and the fact the engine is now handbuilt, I feel the small increase is still worth it.

But the MSRP for the 2020 C43 was $60,000. The base price of $80,000 represents a 33% increase. One third of the car's value. I would consider that an unprecedented leap in price, and within $4k of the last gen E63s. All this and I haven't even driven the car. At this point, I can't even say if it's worth it or not TBH.

Wait what? The previous gen c43 brand new was 60k Canadian? That translates to 44k united states dollar. Man I need to move to Canada! In the states, the previous c43 was msrp 57k usd. And the new one is about 60k usd msrp. So for some reason canada now caught up to our pricing? For USA the price change is just a couple grand or so.

We did used to get some decent prices up here when compared to the states - My previous car, a Golf R MK7.5 was $50.000 CAD, which at the time converted to being much cheaper than the US MSRP. That being said, I still have to confirm with the dealer that what I see on the order sheet is in fact the MSRP in Canada, as sometimes, they just stick a US converted number as a placeholder when they don't have a clue yet. In this particular case, $80k CAD converts quite nicely to $60K and change USD. I really, REALLY hope that the price is just a placeholder.

EDIT: I just checked the late model Golf R MK8. Our MSRP of $50,932.00 converts to $38,016. The US MSRP for that car is $44,740...So yeah we STILL get some pretty good prices here...

Welcome to Canada (to help pay for our taxes ), our taxes is higher than most states for literally everything and the weak currency doesn't help.

Cars in Canada is generally cheaper than the USA before the chip shortage and stuff but in return we don't get lemon law, we don't get a cool off period when buying (at least true for Ontario), cars generally gets released many months longer than the States.

not car related (we get treated poorly when it comes to consumer electronics, many discounts that the States gets we don't get, we don't get lots of colour options for phones for example, we miss out on many models, our software updates come very late, customer support of many brands are generally poor, our general cost of living is higher, we have the most expensive phone plans in the world in general and with the least data (although sort of improving).

I mean, every country has their short comings, I still love Canada : ) and we always welcome people if you want to come : ) I just want to say although our cars were cheaper before, literally everything else is more expensive than the States, take housing for example.
