us website has more options (black wheels, performance seats) available...why?
my 2013 c63 performance package was not $9.000...hmm

...at this snack bracket, i think i will be a little less inclined to jump into a new model before i see what's-what.....oh well, live and learn....should be gettting my s in just over a month, this little bit of agrevating news will soon pass!

 

Performance seats are orderable. And black wheels looks to be in tight supply.

 

Saw an Edition 1 at Star Motors in Ottawa, white with black rims. Nice but subdued.

The back is surprisingly roomy. The car just looks so.... like any other c class.....

Looks great. So exciting to see them arriving. It kind of amazes me that the cars are not tracked better. My dealership is now saying my car is in production. But the netstar screen said the car had been produced on April 20. And I ordered mine literally the day the pics came out the car last fall. I went from April 24th deliver date to June 6th. But now wonder if the car may appear weeks earlier like these ones we are seeing arrive now.

 

I cannot believe some of the comments that have been posted in this thread. LOL

 

They deserve it. How do you send out a letter dated May that says cars will arrive in April. This is kind of like putting up a basic configurator with a $10,000,000,000 price tag. it's a comedy of errors. And really, it should not happen. If we can spot these things just glancing at a press release, why couldn't someone at MB catch it before it went out. I mean the mistakes don't do harm. It's not the end of the world. It just lowers my confidence in the information I am getting about when to expect deliver.

I am fascinated to hear what the expected delivery dates of these cars were supposed to be.

I got told a few weeks back my car had been made. Then today when I sent them an e-mail pointing out Star Motors in Ottawa has one, I got told my car is now in production. So was it made, or is it being made? No idea. Not the dealers fault. They have to go on what info they are given. I just figure in 2015 things would be more co-ordinated and the system would keep people in the loop in a more accurate manner.

Most customers will not care. But us Edition 1 owners are a pain in the ***. We are die hard. We are fanatics. And we are probably driving our dealers nuts bugging them every few days for info. In the end even if you don't like the price increase, and don't like the info we are getting, the fact is MB builds great cars. I drove a C300 loaner the other day. Wow. I can't believe I am saying wow. It drove very well, and had some pep. They've done a fantastic job on the C Class. In the end that is what matters. None of this will matter once you get behind the wheel of your car. And my dealership is great. I've bought a number of cars from them, and they are always good from sales to service.

 

I wasn't referring to the letter actually. So please do not take my last comment the wrong way. I am just laughing to myself about some earlier comments that is all.

 

Do you wear glasses? Where they off when you took pictures of the car. I would hope it would resemble a C class, if it didn't then I don't think it would be a C63 This car looks a lot different than its lower level models unlike the the W204. You drive an Evoke doe

 

I am referring to the amg look. I expected the edition 1 to have carbon fibre on side mirrors, front lips and real spoiler.

I agree. It doesn't have to be a bad thing because I have a C400, and I think it is a beautiful car, well proportioned. But just not much on the outside. My car has similar tire/rim sizes, for instance. Previous C63s were more visually aggressive imo.

 

Sorry to burst your bubble. The ACTUAL Canadian pricing for the standard C63 is $79500!

 

I think that is what that particular dealing is selling the car at, looks like a healthy markup. Where you at?
