Hey guys

Just picked up a brand new C63s a few days ago and have put around 1000 kms on it. Oddly enough for the past few days I keep getting this message "Electronic Rear Axle Differential Lock Currently Unavailable" that keeps showing up every so often.

Appreciate your thoughts on this - the car of course has not been modified or anything and everything is stock.

Take it to the dealer.

There was a recall on that but on a new car it should have been fixed.

Thanks - mine is a 2016 production car that was lying with the dealer for nearly a year. I got a very good deal on it and took it.

Is this is a major issue ? Bummer as I chose the C63s over the M4

Its not a major issue, just have it checked out and you will be fine. I came from an M4 and there is no way I would state what you did even if I get this error in the future.

not a big deal as it was a different electrical connector or boot for it.

Simple fix by dealer to reconnect the wire and secure it. Or would you rather have faulty differential on M4 ?
Not trying to diss M but heard some stories from members over at Mboard.
