has anyone had issues with tunes as I'm about to send my ecu from Australia and don't want to be sending my ecu back and forward stage 1, iv got bmc filters and a akra exhaust

i haven't sent it out yet but I'm going with velos but i just wanted to know if anyone has had issues with the tune e.g. dash warning lights etc

Make sure you contact them 1st. I had my ECU sent to them a couple of months ago. They were unable to bench flash it because I had one of the newest ECU's that are coming on the 2017 models.
I just got an email last week that they are now able to flash it so I can't say anything about CEL's or other issues.

would there be a issue with the fuel differences between the states and Australia we use 98 octane over here

ole, one of the US companies told me that their 93 is equivalant to our 98 octane, don't know if this is true or not...

These are good numbers. It sucks that the ECU removal process is so complicated. Any chances we'll see a breakthrough on the ODBII access? I know they eventually found ways to access the F80 M3 ECU through OBDII port but only after the initial bench flash of the ECU. I think those guys can now return to stock and reload the tune through the OBDII port. Can we expect something like this soon?

I'm back in the game and looking for a M177 W205 tuner in San Diego to do same day ECU pull and tune. Any recommendations?

We can do in drive in/out tuned in 4-5hrs at our Huntington Beach location.

Ok, cool. Why would you get a CEL if professionals do install for you?

This... Use Benzworks (OE distributor in Huntington Beach) to install as they have done a ton of W205 installs and understand all the in's and outs of getting that POS ECU out

CEL's will not occur and have not with me--- as you get into the more advanced mods like DP's is where you will see such things unless you have a proper tune.

BMR Sydney use the OE tune so that's a different option for Aussies, Iv only heard of good reviews with BMR

Yeah, let me know when someone has a proper OBDII port tune... ECU removal is a sure fire way to flag a dealer.

And, I'd like to know if this ECU has a flash counter like Audi???
