c63s owners jerky 3-4 shift in manual?

When I am in driving in sport + mode I notice in manual shifting mode on it has a slight jerk almost always going from 3rd gear to 4.

Anyone else experience this or should I have it look at it?

It won't do it if I drive it slightly harder as in gas slightly more, but otherwise I almost always feel it.

Doesn't happen in any other gear either.

My car personally use to do this, almost like a lunging action but after the run in and stopping by the dealer it no longer does it. I don't know if it needed to be ran in more or dealer adjusted the clutch packs. But at 6k miles, I haven't had it happen to me since basically brand new.

Shifting from 3rd to 4th.

I had the same problem. Take car to your dealership and ask about PTSS Case #89001. AMG engineers discovered an issue with certain vin numbers. Car runs fine now.

Thanks for the info.

I just hit the 1K mark and tried the paddles.

Same jerk from 3rd to 4th. I will have it looked at when I go for my differential oil change.

Had the same problem. Just a software thing, required the workshop undertaking new adaptations for 3rd and 4th gear. Took them about a day to sort and fix.

I really think this is not a big issue guys, it only happens in sport + and race. If you are changing gears early in these modes then you get the jerk movement. If you change at higher revs the change is smooth.

"Unicorn" is correct, just got my car back today after reporting the same issue, and they followed the same process as indicated in "Unicorn's" post and the car is significantly better now. They dealership must drive the car at least twenty miles after doing the software upgrade for the adaption to take effect.

Just started using my care in race mode to use paddles today (only at about the 1000km mark) and 3-4th gear change is jerky. Tried at low and high revs and same jerky motion.

Might take it to dealer if it's still happening after 2000km. Hopefully the car warms up to it.
