Who's Upgraded their Turbos

Hi guys , just to clarify the graph lists engine HP.
Ill find out tomrrow what calculation the dyno used to arrive at this but it can be vehicle specific ( other dynos I’ve used you put in the gear ratio to the program and run at a certain rpm then select neutral and it measures the spin down time and calculates drive train losses from this). But if you use 10% drive train loss it’s the same numbers as what other guys have been getting with the same mods.

Hey, I was wondering if it is possible to get a twin scroll setup onto the c63s…I believe the e63s uses twin scroll, I wonder if they will bolt directly on. Can only Imagine the power these motors would put out! Anyways just wondering if there has been any testing done on this or discussion.

I tried contacting power-technik offline (Instagram) since he claims he’s already done the swap, and he quoted me a price on the OEM E63 setup. But when I said I wanted to move forward, he ignored my messages and then stopped me from following him on Instagram lol.
I have the part # for the twin scroll manifold, but the official parts diagram for the E63 hasn’t been published. So I don’t have the part #s for the lower heat shield and coolant hoses he said I’d need as well.
Once I’m able to obtain the parts diagram to make sure I can get all the parts I need, I wanna weigh betweeen the E63 BNRs (OEM) vs the Pure Stage IIs for the C63 and the E63, and take the leap of faith and attempt the swap.

The idea has been floated and discussed briefly here: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c63s-...fferences.html

Until then lets hope we can get that parts diagram... I wonder if pure turbo has looked into this swap for the twin scroll onto the C63s, may have some valuable information for us especially since they already offer upgrade turbos for the e63s.
Anyways post pics of the progress, look forward to seeing this!

I take it that’s to be read as 673 bhp? So 585 rwhp? Or was that 673 rwhp? The way it’s labeled is kinda ambiguous.
EDIT: Nevermind. Re-read your previous post. You had already made 626rwhp on your previous run. So this is 673rwhp on just Stage IIs and a tune, with 200 cell hi-flow cat DP, right? 👍. Same OEM boost?

Let’s meet up sometime soon at the Domain, I’d love to get a ride along!

Yep! Pump gas. Immediately overwhelmed my 305 Sport Cup 2s, so having R888Rs installed right now. Hoping those can put more power to the ground. I went with that much torque since I will never ever drag it or launch from a stop. Rolling race in Mexico and I am all in!

I have a Dragy you can borrow to do some pulls and get some times, I'll shoot you a PM. The thing is dead accurate, I used it while doing a few runs at San Antonio Raceway and Dragy was within hundredths of a second/mph on all my time slips.

kumizi, why'd you delete your post? I read what you had posted in the email notification I received; is it not accurate? Cuz I thought it was helpful info...

Standard power VS Pure s1
Today's dyno
Hey Everyone,
This is my first post on here. I've read so much and followed so many posts, but only just became a member lately. I have a 2016 C63s with 27,000km. I have fitted the pure stage 1 turbos and weistec panel filters. Here are some pics of the turbos and the difference in power. I just got it back form being tuned again, because the dealer reflashed the cpu and i ended up with a standard tune again!. We got a bit more power this time with more through the mid range. I'm happy to answer any questions you have. There's not a lot of independent info on this, so i'm happy to share any info i have.

Hi Dave!
Yours is the white sedan that Paul tuned start of January? I really like Chasers, I have taken both of my Subaru's there; and Paul has to be one of the best tuners in Australia.
Thats great power! I'm sure you must be very happy with the result! How much more power and how earlier spool do you think you'd get with downpipes and E85?

i dont think there's much enough of a difference to justify getting DPs alone. Considering the cost, the amount of work (removing trans) and fuel smell, noise etc from removing cats. Theres seems to be about 15rwkw difference. BUT once you add in e85 or methanol, it would be neccessary because back pressure would build and choke it out. Ive looked at E85, but it seems very hard to do properly because of the direct injection the w205 has. I think ill go weistec meth kit with DPs next. As far as spool etc goes, i don't realky know, all i can say is that my car makes 700nm of torque at the wheels at 3000rpm, that's already too much for the tyres to handle. Im now trying to find the right suspension/tyre combo to put the power down. As it stands, my traction control lights up my cluster throughout first 3 gears, all the way to 130km +

Broke down and bought a Dragy. It'll be here tomorrow. I will post up the stats on it - though I won't do a standing start (don't want to fry my clutch or tires). I will do it again when I go catless next week to compare.

I did one - but started at 55 for a 60-130 run, and I later learned that you want to start at like 30 to build up acceleration. On that one run it was a 7.7. My guess is high 6s if I did it the right way.
That said - I am selling the car now, so wont be doing anymore runs (listed in the for sale section - killer deal). I bought an AMG GTS, so selling the C63s.

Bumping back to the top.
Anyone upgraded turbos lately?
Keen to hear from those who have upgraded to Pure Stg2 turbos and if they did any fuel and transmission upgrades to support the new turbos.
Also I’d like to know if anyone has done a custom turbo upgrade yet, Garrett’s, EFR’s etc.
I know Power_technik has done an EFR swap but anyone else done this?
Lets get some photos up for everyone to look at.
