Pops and crackles

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Up to 4-5000 rpm, the cracks and pops get much louder, but at any rpm above 3000, letting off the gas gives me the crackles and pops
This is for the facelift version
During the hot laps session, I had a chat with the silver arrows guy.
He said you have to lift of the throttle very aggressively and not gradually.
I tried it on my way back and My car was popping and crackling just like my 2017.
Its always been there just that it’s now delivered in a different way.
The silver arrows team had one facelift C63S in the pack and you could instantly
tell that it sounded deeper in tone. Combined with the pops and crackles,
it makes the facelift a better buy all round . My take.

It was great to push the car to its limits to see exactly how it would react without endangering other people. I'm now looking at some novice track days with tuition and possibly going back for another session when my brother goes for his E63 experience.

By the way did you get a certificate after your session? Reason why I’m asking is the complimentary offer has been changed from Driver Training which was a whole day to driving experience which lasts 4 hours.
I’m due to utilise my complimentary offer next month.
In all fairness, the whole program could be done in 4 hours.
You do get tired after a while. At least I do.
