CALLING ALL U.S. 2019 C63S OWNERS... POPS AND BANGS COMPLAINTS NEEDED ASAP

But nice driving. Haha the corkscrew looks scary...how much did you lift off there? i would probably poop my pants going too fast there...
no progress for me, but a can say that after 2,500 miles the engine sound has opened up some. My sport seats are more comfortable. The springs softened a bit. I drive in sports mode most of the time and use my paddles
Yesterday, we drove through Big Basin Redwoods and Tunitas Creek in SF Bay Area. I drove it in Manual Transmission mode, with the RPMs steadily above 3k RPMs and a good amount of time going past 5k RPMs between corners. There were bikers on the side of the roads in many points, and there were heads turning in multiple occasions when I drove past them. I wouldn't call the car quiet.
Personally, you do get the pops and bangs with the shifts if you are able to keep RPMs high. But yes, the exhaust sound characteristics have changed since pre-FL and it's a fact that you need to make peace with if you want to be happy with your FL C63S.

I am getting much more attention and positive comments about
the sound, not to mention the colour.
interesting point is one of my neighbours did not realise that I previously owned the pre facelift.
You will not be disappointed with the facelift. I’m not.

I cant agree more. I really think we are making such a big deal about this and we are forgetting how much better the FL is. I test drove a few 2019’s and must say i am not upset at all about how it sounds. I cant wait for my 2020. I will enjoy it as much as i can. Car sounds great.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
you had to have started with a preface lift to appreciate the sound that came out of this v8. what they did to the ECU mapping is a goddamn shame. a complete shame.

Seriously? For pops and burbles?
Just checking. I’ve seen it all now, thanks for the laugh. HILARIOUS.

With all the new electronics I would think the old ecu version isn't compatible with FL.
Only has 4k miles, so just now getting to well broken in territory, but only had it a week n half myself, so still getting used to it.
The other car I was looking at was a 2017 w weistec w3 turbos, dps, n tune so to say the least my19 is more subdued, but I do appreciate all the other upgrades. Just missing a lil of the on demand aural feedback, its still there just not as much and not as loud. Though its hardly fair comparing them w those upgrades.
