2017 C63S AMG Front Pillar Frame - cut on seam?
I'm looking to purchase a 2017 C63S AMG from a CA dealer (non-certified) and noticed this in my inspection. The front pillar frames had seams in them (like cuts). I haven't noticed this in other Mercedes before and would be curious to know if anyone in this forum knows whether this is standard in this car or whether this is a sign that something has happened structurally?
Relevant details:
Carfax is clean, drives well, front hood seems repainted (edges feel a bit rough) but dealer says it isn't.
Appreciate any feedback here.

^ I see that Oliver also took a pic of his Sedan so this will confirm no seams on either configuration
And thanks for sharing your car images.
I decided not to pursue with this dealer and got a certified pre-owned from Fletcher Jones instead - problem solved. Suffice to say, there wasn't a seam in the one I picked up!
