My shop said that the DP are typically made on a jig, so a little variance on how it is secured could put the bung on a different angle or position.
The other possibility is that my coolant line is different - I have a 2020 C63S, what year are yours?
Regardless, the CEL was off for the drive from the shop to the dyno, but when I had it put on the highway, CEL on. Annoying.
Did pre and post dyno with intake and DP, no tune. The intake gives a wicked induction sound, might even grab the Eventuri CF ducts. Hope to have maps tomorrow. The shop is in the process of transitioning to a new location, hence temp appearance.
I have a 2020 also. Maybe some factory build deviation or deviation on the DP itself?

Give it some time. I did have some pending codes that eventually went away.

Just received the graph. This is Modal intake, Modal catted DP, post dyno was done right after install. No tune. There are spots when the gain is about 20 HP and TQ.
It does feel more responsive, but perhaps that is because it sounds so much better and I cannot help but romp on it.

interesting. I expected a bit more power. I picked up more power from just the DP's. It could just be the variances in different Dynos. Plus my Dyno was done on a mustang which reads very low compared to Dynojet.

I have a GLA45 with stage 1 OE tune and installed the Redstar DP with Gesi cat and I too get a CEL. I first tried the right angle spacer from Big Daddy's, that didn't work I now have the mini-cat. At first I thought it worked. But after a few hundred miles, I get a CEL. I live in GA where we do OBD2 testing so turning off the readiness monitor won't work (stage 2). My car is a 2019 so I have until 2022 to figure it out. Still looking for a solution.

Best way to figure it out is to look at live data for secondary O2 sensors. I checked my wife's stock X5 and learned the O2 sensor voltage behavior and response. How it responds to on throttle and off throttle. Voltage levels etc. Then I compared them to my car and noticed what was happening. Sensors were reading too high with just the Catted DP's. I then installed the big Catted Fabspeed spacers, drove around and logged the data. There was clearly a delayed response on the sensors and CEL confirmed it. So they were just too big. Tried smaller spacer, much better response but still getting delayed response here and there, CEL confirmed this, took a little longer though. So now we're making progress. Tried big daddy spacers which were even smaller then the last spacers and viola, much better response and voltage within spec.

It's still not perfect as it'll respond a little slow sometimes and I did get pending codes initially but they went away. I think the Cat material in the spacers just needed to break in.

I've driven about 500 miles and no CEL.

Yep, I've driven 4,000 miles since the mini spacers and no issues whatsoever.

Thanks for the feedback, that is helpful. I don't drive my car much, so maybe, like you said, I just need to use it more extensively.

Hey, question for those who have installed high-flow cats — which ones did you go with, is there a perceptible difference in smell compared with stock?

I know the cats cut down on a lot of the smell compared to catless, but wondering if there’s still a smell compared to factory cats.

Big daddies garage spacers plus modal Downpipes

hey guys brother I recently got the modal downpipes installed as well with the big daddies spacers and it took care of the two original codes I got PO420/PO430. But now as you said a couple more codes have popped up mine being P2097 and P0136. Was wondering if you had to do anything further or if these lights ended up going away. Please let me know I am very interested

hey there elite I noticed on a previous posting that you had also noticed some further codes after you installed your Downpipes and spacers. The original codes are taken care of but there are new codes that I referenced in my last post (P2097 and P0136). Was wondering if you had a similar experience and if you did anything further to get rid of the check engine. Seems when I have it cleared it doesn’t come up for about a week. Please let me know what you think I’d very much appreciate it

Just got my car back with the Redstar Downpipes with HJS 200 cats and heatshield installed. The car is definitely a lot louder with a more throaty and bit raspy sound.
@PhxC63s my tuner said that my Weistec Stage 1 tune had a Level 2 burble (which I thought was way too much) so they brought it down closer to Level 1 and I still think it's too aggressive.
I'll be bringing my car back in next week to either bring it down more or just completely remove the burbles. Did you end up trying Level 1?

Yes, but more so until warmed up. Once warm the small is less than catless, especially depending on cat manufacturer and cell # (ie 100, 200, or 300).

I did notice some pending codes but they ended up clearing on their own. I haven't done anything else to the car. I would say to put more miles to break in both the new High flow cats and the cat material in the spacers.

did those pending codes give you a check engine light or were they just visible when you plugged in your scanner?

gotcha see mine is causing a check engine and I’m not sure why, they seem to be similar codes to what you had but fewer of them I’m not entirely sure.

Does anyone have any suggestions for scanners that are good for clearing codes on the W205 chassis. The CEL seems to take a week to come back after I had it cleared for me so I don’t might just clearing it often if anyone had any suggestions. Was going to go with the icarsoft i980 if anyone has had any experience would love to hear about it

I own a 2018 C63 AMG, FI Exhaust catless down pipes and a DME Tune.

I just failed an inspection due to OBD II Readiness errors. I had a few "Not Supported" and "Not Ready" items.

Heated Cat Not Supported
Evap System Not Ready
Sec. Air Not Supported
A/C System Not Supported
O2 Sensor Not Ready
O2 Heated Not Ready

How are people passing inspections?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Flashing back to stock and using o2 adapters on each of the sensors should do the trick.
