But let's find out: Would be good to know if this timing CHAIN guides will need to be done later on in this car's life or as the mileage gets high? At least if I know it's a WEAR & TEAR item I can start saving now fml 🙄🙄🙄

Evap solenoid/ purge valve solenoid makes a ticking noise. This is what a lot of you are describing. When it fails it gets louder and makes what sounds like a lifter tick noise. It can be responsible for misfires if left failing. It is Located drivers side front of engine kind of near the headlight area. The noise also varies if the car is warm or not due to the function it serves

Because the telltale sign of the chain guide issue is it will be apparent during cold start but will disappear when warm.
The bad sound I'm talking about is in this video

In those 2 new videos you've posted, the noises are normal ticking. But the other videos you posted have the chain guide noise. In the other videos you posted, did you record during cold start?
Because the telltale sign of the chain guide issue is it will be apparent during cold start but will disappear when warm.
The bad sound I'm talking about is in this video

hi bro, i have THE SAME NOISE, tak tak tak to much people say ma hey this engine sounds bad, something is wrong, but i see in this forums that this noise is "normal" but to be honest it is quite annoying and I don't know if it is normal, in mb they told me that it took 4 hours just to detect a problem (if it has one) and the hour of work is 800$ . You don't need to change them but if it annoys you, you can get them done. For me I've changed all my pulleys in the coupe twice and the belts but that noise comes back after a while. But that's definitely not your chain guides mate.

That's fine the squeak is your pulley and accessory belt needing replacement soon. Even after replacement you will still get the occasional squeaks on cold start especially if the car hasn't been driven for a few days or after heavy rain (as mentioned above in this thread).
The timing chain guides sound, as you described is that distinctive, hollow, cricket sound of tek tek tek tek on cold start. That's the bad one.
Just to be clear so far on M177 noises:
⛔ Timing chain guides: Cricket sound tek tek tek tek that disappears after about 5 minutes after cold start (Bad, Urgent & Expensive)
✅ Injector sounds: Tick tick tick tick sound especially louder on right side of engine when standing in front of the hood (No issue & Normal)
✅ Belt and pulley: Squeaks which usually disappear after car is warned up (Fine & Not urgent)
