AMG C63S Rear Brake Rotor Recommendation
Maybe I've missed something, but I've read several threads on here about brake pads and rotors but can't seem to find specific info on recommendations for rear brake rotors for a 2017 AMG C63S with non-ceramic brake system. I am looking at the 2 piece FCP Euro rotors for front but but I like to use something other than the OEM rotors for the rear. Thank you for any input!

There is Racing Brake and Platz1 Motorosports that has non-OEM rear rotors for our cars. Somewhat unnecessary, though. RB is quite expensive and Platz1 is a Taiwanese company that I've never heard about before, so no idea about their quality. The thing is the rear calipers are already floating, so getting full-floating rotors for the rear is kinda pointless and they never get as hot as the fronts, which do the vast majority of work. I have the FCP rotors in the front now, which are excellent and I plan to stay with them and I've pretty much decided to stay with OEM in the rear.
The FCP rotors are OEM as well. They are found on the C63 BS and just found out the other day they are also on the GT R with the standard brakes. The GT R Roadster at least. Don't remember if the coupe was even available w/o CCBs. Some seem to want the same looking rotors front and rear, but it's kind of an AMG thing to have different front rotors. The stock rotors are already different front and rear and it's the same with the GT R. It only has full-floating in the front.

Appreciate the responses! I didn't realize the rear rotors were that cheap. Rock Auto currently has them for a great price...but only 1 in stock... so I will wait. Other sites have them but the price is anywhere from 20-40 dollars more.

FCP Rotors are a good choice, along with Porterfield Pads all around to decrease the brake dust.
