Newbie wheel question

Hi all, lifelong M3 driver but just picked up a w205 c63 (non S) saloon (sedan) for a change and very impressed so far…..I have a wheel question and need some help, I would like to run 19” 9J up fronts and 10.5j rears, the offsets are ET25 front and ET57 rears, so my question is, will they fit without rubbing? Will they unbalance the traction control due to different size and what’s the widest Tyres and profiles I can run (higher profile preferred for a bit of comfort as it’s a DD) I’m hoping for 265/35/19 fronts and 285/35/20 rears? Thanks in advance, appreciate it, AD

These can help when trying to answer such questions:
https://tiresize.com/comparison/
https://www.tyresizecalculator.com/t...ize-calculator
https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/

WRT traction control, if you figure that new/wearable tread thickness is 7-10 32nds of an inch and do the calculations, you'll find that a tire's rolling surface (circumference) can vary by 3-5% (depending upon size), just from tread wear. Thus, traction-control systems MUST be able to take this much variance into account (in spite of what many shops will tell you).

The rear offset will work but for the front you want around ET 30 . If the car is lowered the 10.5 may rub the bumper where it meets the 1/4 on some drops in the road . I ran +57 and it hit but then again my suspension was lowered , stock height it will clear no issues

Look at the amount of camber you're running in the front lol . Thats only way that will work . I had a KMAC kit installed to stop tire wear and that offset would have hit the fender . I ran +52 w/ 10.5 in the rear the first set and they hit and I didn't even have anyone in the rear so they made me a new set at +57 and never had an issue with that offset , I can't even imagine a +45 . It would be okay on flat roads with no dips and no one in the rear thats it . On mine you could clearly see where they were rubbing with the +52 but than again I was running 20's with a taller tire for ride quality

Thanks all

Thanks for all your replies, from what I’m reading I think the rears at 10.5j et 57 should be fine (as I’m on stock suspension) and the fronts should be ok at et25 but may need a small spacer if they rub. So my next part of the question is what tyre sizes can I run with this set up, I’m thinking 265/35/19 on the front and 295/30/20 on the rear, anyone run these or have any comments? Thanks once again, much appreciated

I have 265/35/19 ps4s on the front and 295/30/19 R888r on the rear with H&R lowering springs and no spacers on my sedan. Fitment is almost perfect and doesn’t rub. The fronts tuck a little but it isn’t flush with the body and rears are flush with the body but has less than a finger gap. I’ve been dailying this set up for 3 years around LA and haven’t broken my front lip, but I have to angle a lot. Also I tried 265/35/19 R888r in the front once. I would not recommend. The noise from the tires becomes way too loud and since they are fat tires it raised my car back to almost stock ride height.

If u have a coupe my friend has H&R lowering springs and 305/30/20 ps4s on the rears but that didn’t fill up the entire space.

car looks great, is it Iridium Silver by any chance, glad the 265 and 295 sizes work as that’s what I’m looking at, assume your fronts are et25 and rears et57?
thanks

Yup it’s iridium silver.
To be honest I don’t know. I have stock 19 in cross-spoke rims. I know for these rims biggest size your technically able to run is 265 and 295. Any bigger, big name tire shops will refuse to mount the tires.
Based off google I think they are et38 and et56 but don’t quote me on that.
