OPF/GPF Delete for 2019+ EU cars

Greetings!

Long time lurker here.
I have a MY 2019 C63s with the dreaded OPF/GPF ( EU model ) and I am looking to get some more volume out of my car.

Is there anyone here who has an EU spec car and has removed just the OPF/GPF ( located in the secondary cat ) - how big of a sound difference does it make on the facelift model?
I already have the EVM exhaust module which helps a bit but I feel like it is not enough and I am not interested in aftermarket downpipes with high flow cats.

I know the secondary cat delete has been discussed here multiple times but I have not managed to find a sound clip of it on an facelifted EU model.

Thanks

Greetings once again!

So, I decided to do the OPF delete ( I still have the stock primary cats on, OPF is in the secondary cat which was removed ) for my facelift and the car now sounds absolutely amazing, I would say it increased the sound about 30%.
The sound level is perfect now, there is no smell nor drone. Comfort mode is still very civilized but in sport+/race there is a massive difference.

In addition, it seems to me that EVM module makes much a bigger difference as well with the OPF / secondary cat delete.
For cars with OPF, it has to be removed from the software as well.

I absolutely recommend this modification.

That's good to hear. How does this affect your emissions ?
Also you wouldn't happen to have a before and after sound clip/ video ?

No, it was done by a tuning company.
They did remove the gearbox for this process.

Regarding emissions, I will have TÜV check in 6 months, will give you an update but It shouldn't be a problem ( as primary cats are still in place ). I had a custom solution made so if necessary, I can install the OPF's back with ease.
As for the before vs after sound, I do not have anything which does it full justice as the stuff I have is recorded on different microphones. I will have to dig and see if I find something.

I'll attach a 5-second clip with pretty bad quality ( and slightly annoying background music ), it's the only one I have on hand ( after OPF delete ). I'll try to find something better.
Stock tune - no added pops & bangs.

Hello again.
I found 2 clips and put together a side to side comparison, the difference is actually quite big.
The first clip is a very old one of my car, driven in Sport+ and near full throttle ( and as a added bonus, my GF failing to activate Launch Control in the beginning lol ).
The second clip is after the OPF removal, with EVM module also activated. Sport+ with slightly below half throttle.

Very convincing. Now I’m hoping this passes emissions. Congratulations

The sound is perfect!!
Howmuch did the modification cost in total? And what kind of software was needed for the opf?

Hey

I'm not sure on the software specifics. It cost approximately 2200 euros ( gearbox removal + software + all the other necessities ).

Just a quick update - did emissions test, passed without any issues whatsoever.
