'21 high miles or '17 low miles
That being said, I want to spend somewhere in the $50's which will get me a pre facelift with low miles or a post facelift with higher milage (50-60k). Or more practical to get the "non-S" version to save a few bucks?
This will be my daily so I have to take that into account. I'm not opposed to purchasing an "extended warranty". Any input would be appreciated.

I think this depends on what you really want. The pre facelift has its perks but so does the facelift.
Reasons to go with pre facelift:
1. Doesn't have a rev limiter
2. Exhaust sounds better( facelifts depending on where you live have opf filters)
3. Low mileage and heavily optioned compared to a face lift one at similar price.
4. All around I believe the pre face lift is a more raw sounding and performing car compared to the face lift.
Reasons to go with facelift:
1. Updated interior/software and exterior.
2. 9 speed transmission(subjective)
3. Multiple traction control levels
4. Electronic locking differential is standard now( pre facelift only have it in the S-models)
I'm sure there's a few things I'm missing but overall it comes down to what you want from the car(enjoyment and performance wise)
