'21 high miles or '17 low miles

New here, looking to purchase a C63S. I've had a few sports cars in my life. Closest to this was an E92 M3.
That being said, I want to spend somewhere in the $50's which will get me a pre facelift with low miles or a post facelift with higher milage (50-60k). Or more practical to get the "non-S" version to save a few bucks?
This will be my daily so I have to take that into account. I'm not opposed to purchasing an "extended warranty". Any input would be appreciated.

I'd go '17 with low miles, and definitely get the S, you'll do better in the long run and have a more enjoyable car. We are a Fidelity and Freedom Warranty extended warranty retailer, repairs accepted at all Mercedes-Benz dealerships and licensed indents in the US/Canada. When you find one you're serious about, you can email me the online listing and i'll get you the accurate pricing and coverage information. Happy hunting! tgibson@highline-autos.com or (855) 924-1333.

Thanks. I was actually about to make a post about a 2017 Edition One I found. Only thing is, it has a "Lemon" title for a coolant leak that was bought back at 5,000 miles. It has 28,000 now but thats something I would definitely get an extended warranty on if yall would even be able to cover it.

Unfortunately branded titles (lemon, salvage, rebuilt...etc.) are not eligible for extended warranty coverage.

I figured as much. I would assume this is true across the board for Extended Coverage companies?

Have you used your Endurance coverage? @JettaRed recently shared his experience and it did not go as it should when working with a serious warranty company.

I think this depends on what you really want. The pre facelift has its perks but so does the facelift.

Reasons to go with pre facelift:
1. Doesn't have a rev limiter
2. Exhaust sounds better( facelifts depending on where you live have opf filters)
3. Low mileage and heavily optioned compared to a face lift one at similar price.
4. All around I believe the pre face lift is a more raw sounding and performing car compared to the face lift.

Reasons to go with facelift:
1. Updated interior/software and exterior.
2. 9 speed transmission(subjective)
3. Multiple traction control levels
4. Electronic locking differential is standard now( pre facelift only have it in the S-models)

I'm sure there's a few things I'm missing but overall it comes down to what you want from the car(enjoyment and performance wise)

There are lot more suckers for a low mileage than for a newer car, did you get that mate?

E diff is nothing to brag about. I've seen many fail but no failures on the mechanical only lsd diff. However the 9 speed would be the selling point. It's way more dialed in, more reliable, smoother, and more responsive / less delay to paddles. The stock high pressure fuel pumps will also be larger than the prefacelift. As for exhaust you'll likely be changing that anyway so not really important.
