My $160 mods that has the look of $$$$$$.

I alway want to have the quad exhaust look from day one when i bought my CL 55 but can't stand spend $1800 on the factory exhaust !!! So i decided to try the tips first but couldn't find any tips on Ebay for the CL. Luckly for me, I found these tips ($30 ea.) from PeyBoy and decided to give it a try and I must say, it look AWESOME !!! The totals cost is $160 (parts and labors)!! Btw, i have the real AMG tips for sale. Drop me an e-mail if anyone interesting.

Can't upload the pics but here's the link to the pics....

No pics. It a very simple job. Just cut your factory tip and aftermarket tip (to shorten up the lenght) then weld it to the muffler. Very simple.

I have a great idea...why dont you go on ebay and buy some V8 Kompressor badges for the fenders.......That would be neat.

If you get the fenders then what about buying some super glue and putting the V8 Kompressor badges on your doors!!!...That would be soooo awesome. If anyone asks to pop the hood just tell them the cable broke. Keep it up....

Actually, considering he has a CL55 and supercharger I don't see the problem...

Great, now my desire to have the look of dual exhaust on my CLK 430 is now back.

Anyone do this to a CLK? I'm sure that there are. What was done exactly? I don't want to cut the rear bumper.

Its a hell of a lot better than those fake tips they sell on e-bay. Nice job Linh... as always. Did you have to cut the rear bumper at all? I had to trim a little to get my Eisenmann to fit.

I trim my bumper a couple months ago when I installed the rear bumper black out cover.

Can I get tips for my 02 CL500. Like you, I too love the quad exhaust look; however I was told that I would have to cut my bumper for it to look right. Any suggestions?
