CL 600 SOftware Upgrades
So who makes software upgrades besides Renntech and Powerchip for the 600tt cars? Everyone seems to like the Renntech upgrade but I don't see much about the Powerchip flash. I tried to contact EVOtech about their flash but the phone number doesn't work. Are they still in business? What other options are out there?

I believe Evotech is out of business. There are a number of tunes out there. Kleemann makes one.... so does Performance Engineering Software, LET Motorsports, Brabus...etc. They range in price from $1,700 to $11K (Brabus).
Not sure which one I am going with.
Did you get a CL600? Where in MD are you from?

What are your goals/priorities with the car of your choice?
If ultimate speed is what you are looking for I think you best bet is a 600. The 55's can get really fast but it is going to cost you more in aftermarket parts. Although there are alot more parts for the 55K engine then there are for the V12TT.

I am getting a 600TT soon also and have the same issues, but I will solve em a little differently. I intend to purchase the software and do the ecu flash myself. SO... if you guys want to put our heads together and come up with a cost effective solution I'm in. Otherwise I'll do it test it dyno it and let you know how much I can send it over to ya for.

I have the 600, but it's in an '06 SL. I just got the ECU/TCU back today and popped it in. The improvement is very noticeable. I dyno'd the car prior to the tune and I was getting 453 at the rear wheels (~530 torque). I won't be able to get a dyno until next week for the "after" results, but keep an eye on this thread, if you are interested...

BTW, I liked everyone I talked to, but ended up going with Kleemann. They were half way between the cheap guys and RennTech for cost.
