Previous salvage history results in incredibly low price for my beautiful ride...

Whatever there's gas in...
Has there been any mechanical issues with this car at all?

The ABC lets out pressure when parked, resulting in the car sitting low. I had it drained and the filter changed, but it didn't fix it. It likely needs new front valve, but since the car "pops up" when you put it in park, I haven't found the need to fix it yet.

Surprised that even with this seemingly low price I only have two people interested. Anyone here interested?

Hard to say. The link above has been changed I noticed, for anyone else looking (new link: http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...eadExists=true)

Your car is 5K less then the next closest 2003+ CL55 or CL600, I supposed the salvage title followed by the car being stolen are scaring people away. With only 25,000 miles I really would have thought it would go by now.

I have dibs when you get back in town.

What typical issues do Cl600 owners face? Just so I know what I'm in for. This might be an excellent weekend car for me.

How come there's a mileage error of 71K on the title? 25K seems low.... 71K+ would sound about right.

From the ad:

Condition: Currently shows 25k miles, but title has mileage error and shows 71k
Yeah, that is a good one. My car has a mileage error too, it actually has 3k on the clock, but there must be some error because it reads 74,675 miles . . .

Salvage yard put 70,000 on Florida title. When buyer in Brooklyn (guy before me, who buys salvage cars and resells them) got the car and title, he tried having it changed, but Florida requires a physical inspection. He didn't want to ship the car back to Florida and back to NY, so he left it.

Sounds fishy. So you're saying that if you would come to them with your car which shows 25K on the clock they would "correct" the title? It might be worth the drive....

only when the error first occurs. Once it got titled in NJ by me, there was no turning back...

Sorry to say but nobody in the Tri-state area would buy this story, especially once you will mention "Brooklyn" and "mileage" in the same sentence. But good luck with the sale, the car looks very nice.

only thing i would recommend is more pics, some of the interior, engine, etc. would be nice. they always say that the listing with more pics is more likely to sell between two identical cars.

and we all know the title/ salvage history is hurting you, if there is anything you could do to help that situation or make it a little bit more clear wouldn't hurt at this point. that sort of stuff really scares people away if its not completely explained.
