hey guys, i have a 2001 cl500. and i went to the store, and when i got out , the car would turn over(starter n batt good). but it wont fire. i open the hood up and checked for fuel at the rails, it was fuel there. (fuel pump ok). so i disconnected the negative battery, and tried it. nothing. then i disconnected the positive waited for about 5 mins, connected both up. and she started as normal. drove home. parked it. turned off the car. came back out 30 minutes later. no start. just cranked. figuring wat worked the first time should work the second time. disconnected positive cable waited 5 mins. connected back. started right up. ive noticed that if i just do the negative cable, it wont work. but when i disconnect the positive cable for about 5 minutes, it start right up. if anyone had this problem, or know a solution. please help. didnt see anything on the forum like this. close to this, but not this.
im thinking something is sticking in a certain position. and when removing power froms it, it unsticks. thanks guys and girls.
