want to find out how much my 2001 CL600 is worth
After first starting the car, the red ABC message comes on within the first minute. I shut the car off and turn it back on and it goes away for good until the next time. The ABC works fine without problems, the buttons are functional, I can't figure out why the red message comes on and I just don't want to spend the time and energy anymore to fix it. I'd rather get a new one. I would like to find out how much the car is as is so I could get rid of it and get a new one. The link below will explain my history. The ABC message is the only issue it has.

I don't think it is worth even that with ABC issues. Maybe $6,000 if you find someone who can turn their own wrench and the rest of the car is perfect. ABC problems can easily top $5k or more at the dealership.
You can get a 2003 600 bi-turbo with a functioning ABC system for less than $15k.

Just an FYI. Red ABC messages are deadly in the sense that if you continue to drive with those issues (even if it does go away for a bit), the repair can get very costly. Generally a red ABC earning that comes and goes it the sign of a ABC pump that is starting to fail.
The errors that are causing the RED warning usually are related to low pressure warnings, etc.

RED message Solved!!
I was ready to call it quits but I gave myself one last chance to figure out the problem. Actually it was very easy to solve, there was a very small leak on the fitting to the rear valve block, wrapped teflon tape around the line threads, the leak is gone, added a quart of oil and the red message does not come back. All work was done in less then 1/2 an hour. It must have been the loss of hydraulic pressure that caused the message. I really wonder what story they would have come up with had I taken it to a dealer. I still want to sell though...

Sounds like you found the problem. When the fluid is low (especially a quart) loss of pressure in the system does become an issue.
Congrats !
