2005 CL 500 Vibration issue.
I have a 2005 CL 500, and it has a vibration. It comes and goes at times, but it always is there 60-70 MPH. Here is what has been done.
1. All four wheels balanced checked for straightness and round. All four tires are new.
2. Transmission mount - replaced.
3. Center bearing - replaced.
4. Flex plates - checked nothing wrong.
5. Engine mounts - checked nothing apparent.
Where else should I look to fix this it is driving me bat sheit crazy.
Thanks,
OH

I had exactly the same problem at the same speed with my CL.
Changed my tyres, did dynamic balancing and was about to go down the route of balancing shafts etc.
IT TURNED OUT TO BE INCORRECT TIGHTENING OF WHEEL BEARINGS - my back wheel bearings were ever so slightly loose.
Slack was hardly noticeable but obviously enough to cause vibrations.
Once tightened up, Problem Solved and vibration free ride.
Remember also that over tightening the wheel bearings will quickly damage them.
Hope this helps.
