Thing is I don't think its the engaging thats making the chirp. I believe its clutch. Maybe one of the pro's can chime in.
Usually a new S/C belt will take care of that. I like the gates belts. Belt wrap would be a band aid and not the solution. IMO

ExploreWell, we put the Gatorback belt on and so far no more chirping so hopefully it will stay that way.

what does the vrp kit actually do? I have a belt squeal also and they said it was one of the pullies and this is a common problem. would this fix that? and what are the benefits of replacing witht the vrp kit rather then just getting a new oem one.
