Just purchased a 2005 CL55 AMG need advice...
I took the car to a dealer for a pre purchase inspection everything was ok with the exception of some minor issues.
This week the car on the drivers side in the morning has been all the way to the ground. with the red ABC do not drive the car warning. When I would press the suspension button she would level out and everything would be ok, so after reading the forums I took the car in to a dependable and recomended repairer of the benz and ABC issues. Here is what I am having done for 6,300 dollars to nip as much of this in the butt. The car has 115k miles on her, I purchased the car for 19k and got a 3k extended warranty on it that just covers the powertrain.
The supercharger belt is being replaced.
The supercharger coolant pump is being replaced (it had failed).
The supercharger coolant of course is being replaced.
Engine oil is being replaced (synthetic)
Transmission fluid changed (synthetic)
Spark Plugs Changed
A and B maintiance done to the vechicle
All filters changed
Differential Fluid Changed
They found out the reason the drivers side is dipping at night is because the front valve block is leaking internally so:
The Front ABC block is being changed with MB part# 2203201258
The Hydralic Fluid is being flushed / changed.
The brake fluid is being flushed / changed.
All hoses look good everything else looks good on the ABC system, the pump has perfect pressure etc.
The A/C is being recharged.
Is their anything else you would recommend? I am trying to do as much preventative maintiance as possible.
Thanks for your input!
-Ron
