Thanx. Glad someone liked them. I realy dont like cv3 on W221 or W216. Looks kind of to "empty".

You can but it is very complicated including welding Components and so on and not a direct swap that many Think and there is a thread on here explaining how to do it all.

Chris, do you know if the headlights/taillights you are using exist in a form that would fit a 2003 cl55?

Any suggestions regarding a facelight for a cl55?
Thanks

no, you are failing to understand the difference between face lifting a 216 and turning a 215 to a 216.

You have two completely different bodystyles, you realize that right?

Yes...they are 2 different styles. However, Chris is in the face lifting business and perhaps he knows of lights that fit a cl55 with the technology of the lights he is using.

What technology? Same technology in both w215 and w216. LED rears and HID fronts.

I didnt think LED lights started showing up until 2010/11....the HID is present on a 2003...however I didn't it was the same kind/type of HID....i am assuming the HID lights in a w216 are more advanced in some way and provide better lighting

There is no such thing for W215.All you can do is putting on the W215 2004 facelift items on it. But no DRLs for W215 in the market.

Time to do the facelift taillights. Remove the sidepanel.

Losen these 4 and undplug the conector.

Oh my!!!!!

That feels better.

Time to do the new backuplight Cable fitment. Stripe it onto the excisting Cables.

Install the new taillight. Weld on the new backuplight Cable to the old and insert the conector into the taillight again.

Testing the new backuplight before sealing it all up again.

Before and after...
