Below are some pics and an article on the upcoming 2015 all new S-Class coupe, and even though the first model available for sale here in the U.S. will only be the S550 4-Matic coupe, it is even way better looking than the sedan, more aggressive, dramatic, even classier, more dynamic, just pure awesomeness for sure! This car absolutely needs a much better set of wheels though ASAP....we need to just try to imagine what the S63 and S65 coupe with a bad *** set of custom forged 21 or 22 inch wheels will look like, and maybe with a nice AMS turbo upgrade to go with it and the carbon ceramic brake option......And with all the technology and the all new active "Curve Tilting" technology when turning, the car should handle a lot better than any big luxury coupe out there...
P.S. - its good that it will be so nice because if Porsche does go ahead with the long rumoured 928 (2-Door Panamera) revival car, it will have even more power than a Panamera Turbo S and with AWD and that PDK and a weight over 500 lbs or more less than a Panamera, we could easily see a 928 Turbo S luxury GT coupe hitting 60 MPH in the 2's and 1/4 mile times easily in the what? 10's for sure?

the S63 4matic coupe will be available a few months after the S550 4matic coupe, and the S65 coupe a few months after the S63 coupe. and the S63 coupe will be exactly obviously the same engine brakes and transmission as the S63 4matic sedan.

You should be able to click on the pics to open up a new page and see them in their original larger size.
The attention to detail on these cars is spectacular...truly world class and super high quality German engineering at its finest.
Game on, now its Porsche's turn to respond with their hopefully upcoming 2 Door Panamera 928 style car. 2015 model S63 4Matic coupe vs. 2016/17 model 928 Turbo S?...nice.

Is that a tweeter inside the seat belt extender? Cool as f**k....

And another thing, even though there were surely be an S65 coupe, will AMG even consider making it a 4Matic like the S63 coupe is going to be? Or is the 4Matic system just not capable yet of that kind of torque levels?
Because damn an S65 4Matic coupe with an AMS turbo upgrade and ECU tune would be like basically a Veyron on the "cheap" so to speak, but with more room and practicality, and way more luxury tech.

AMS and Renntech offer already a nice turbo upgrade for 63 (not 65) where you get close to 900hp.
Already talked to Renntech and they are salivating to put that package in the new Coupe.....

yes i believe they confirmed doing an S65 for whoever said they werent. they wouldnt offer a S65 sedan and not a coupe! I am praying they do an S65 awd this thing would be the ultimate luxury road car! but i have my doubts, i think they wouldve done the awd in the sedan as well so im skeptical that benz would exclusively do it in the coupe. otherwise i love the sh*t out of this car, looks beautiful from every angle, and that interior is amazing!

Now that they have the bi-turbo V8, there really isn't much need for the 12 except for those that want the exclusivity. Don't get me wrong, I love the buttery smoothness of the 12 but when I purchased a V12 CL, it was because of the turbos and ease of upgrades. If I were buying new, I would go with the lighter and less expensive V8 bi-turbo over the V12 bi-turbo.

First picture I saw of the new S-Coupe didn't really do it justice. It's definitely grown on me, and is the best looking of the new Mercedes. On the other hand, why does it have to be so aggressive? Why are all new MB's so aggressive? I'm a huge AMG/sport pack fan, but these new cars? Well, the regular S500 (sedan and coupe) are more than sporty enough for me. Throw the AMG pack in the mix, and I'm honestly just not feeling it. Maybe they'll grow on me over time.
I love how the new coupe doesn't make the W216 CL look outdated. If anything, it makes the W216 CL look even better than it already does.
Can't wait to see one in person, this is one of the few new Mercs I'd actually consider buying. For the rest of their cars? The older stuff is a **** sight better, to me anyway.

It looks absolutely amazing and i'm glad they finally put the seat belt extender into the S Coupe!
And the correct term for it is the "Seat Belt Hand Over Arm" haha
They had it in my old 124 E320 Coupe and i thought it was the coolest thing and didn't understand why it wasn't in the CL
Can't wait to see what the AMG versions look like and they are also supposed to be releasing a Cabriolet version - Hopefully they will make an AMG Cabriolet variant as well
I may hold off on picking up an SLS this year and get one of the AMG S Coupes when it's released
