Top 1/4 times for the V12 TT 600 and the 65?

Do you guys know what are the top quarter mile times for the V12 TT 600 and the 65. I believe there was a S600 on spray that holds the record for the 600 going 10.5xx in the 1/4. Not sure what the record was for the 65 other than that Renntech CL65 that went 10.2

It would be good to know what a stock turbo real record is, I want to see how close I can get to that record and after the turbos in June see what else I can do as far as records go.

Thanks

Any input would be great the more info the better.

Here is the list from DRAG TIMES for few top guys with V12TT in the 600 and 65

1/4 Time MPH 60FT CAR DRIVER

10.274* 137.460 1.626 Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG RENNtech SGC
10.585* 132.460 1.610 Mercedes-Benz S600 RENNtech Nitrous Stephen F. Selden
10.660* 120.120 1.545 Mercedes-Benz CL600 Joseph Barrett
10.725* 128.080 1.575 Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG Speedriven V12Godspeed
10.730* 130.860 1.660 Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG VRP Marko
10.732* 129.010 1.657 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG ATPTURBO Emma @ ATPTURB
10.790* 127.320 1.575 Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG RaceHorse

Your worst nightmare...
Here:

All Mercedes Records:

The V12 on Spray was Stephen Selden, he is number 14 on that list. Still here as a member but he has a different car now.

Updated List is on Top

If you have a 10 sec V12 TT and don't see yourself on the list please copy and paste the list adding yourself according to 1/4 mile time and if you could list all your mods when you ran that time and even the tires you used it would be great.

Thanks

I hope to join the 10 second CL list this summer but it's going to be tough if I don't figure out a way to get some sticky tires on the back soon. Be nice if I can make the CL as quick as my F150.......

If I do that I would be 4th on the existing list.

I'm very interested to see what you do on stock turbos with your list of mods kamil. That's what I would like to do in the future!

With these cars its very easy a 10sec 1/4 mile can be achieved with Speedriven Intecoolers and Tune. HE and pump as well.

I will post times as soon as I go to the track. My car is going to be hopefully finished next week, if it is next weekend I will be at the track.

Zax you will go deep into the 10s with your mods, you just need to hook the car up and get a good 60ft.

I may need to get the elusive "Better Driver" mod that some of you guys are running. My best time with a tune and street tires is an 11.56, but I'm hoping the newfound power and LSD gets me down in the 10's.

Problem is putting power to the ground. Get a set of sticky tires and watch those times improve.

I do have a set of nitto nt05r's on 18" ccw's that I mount occasionally, but without the LSD I could never get a satisfying burnout. Once I get that figured out, I am confident I will be kicked off my local track. My goal, btw.

LoL 18s are too big of a wheel you need more sidewall. I have 18s as well with ET STREETS and burnout with no LSD is no issue the issue is hooking up.

I will be selling my 18inch set with almost new ET streets soon if anyone want it. It has 18 inch SL500 rims in gloss black with tires that have less than 5 passes on them.

What size tires do you have 265s or 245s? What was the best time you ran with your car? Maybe track prep was better for me, but I did just fine with the 18's. Not getting both to spin will result in not getting them both to hook well. Only one hot tire will let the other spin off the line. I had that problem even with great trap prep. I haven't been to the track since but based on street driving, I'd almost bet the LSD solved that issue. Show your slips and some pics of what's left to the tires. I may be interested in the tires without wheels.

I have not been with car to the track all runs were done on the street, I also want less weight this is why Im going with a 16 inch wheel. I will also be running skinnies up front.

I suspect 16's wouldn't clear my rear brake calipers on the 65. I think the 18's are close.

PM price and size of ET streets if you are looking to part with tires alone.

Correct, 16's will not fit, I think some 17's can depending on the rim. Again, 18's have worked, just fine.

I've got a set of 18's with 265 MT ET Streets I'll be bolting on this season. I just got the car today, but the wheels are a leftover from my Crossfire. I can't wait to get this thing to the track.

I would rather sell as a set but I will let you know.

18's can hook no problem, and there are some extremely light 18" wheels out there

I'll likely be going with the ECU/TCU tune from EC due to the price ($1,500 for both). I've already ordered coils as the demise of the stockers is expected with any tune. I won't be doing turbos or intercoolers until next year, as I want to enjoy the ride and not max out the car too quickly.

I would do as much weight reduction as possible and go after the Ecu/TCU only record for the 1/4

I think for ECU and TCU only Racehorse holds it with a 10.79 run but would have to ask him if thats all he has. His time is on drag times so u can look up mods according to to yours
