Pipercross air filters are engineered with dirt retention capabilities far beyond that of a conventional air filter, and due to their unique, proprietary foam compound, they can hold up to twice the amount of dirt of a standard air filter without the same loss of airflow.
A Pipercross air filter will allow a 30% increase in airflow over a stock paper element air filter, and with this increase in airflow will come an increase in power output.
This is a washable, re-usable lifetime air filter, and Pipercross will honor the warranty so long as Pipercross genuine cleaning products were used on the air filter.

Series 5 is an industrial division of Pipercross' parent company, Filtration Control Limited. The filters are produced in the same way (multi-layer foam density) so the data applies. In other words - how much (fine) dust does the filter let through, compared to paper?

I apologize for the misunderstanding on my part. I am attaching the dust feed test that our contact at Pipercross has provided us with. Unfortunately this does not show a side by side comparison to a paper filter, and still does not fully answer your exact question. I have, however, reached out to to our contact at Pipercross to find out all that I can to answer your question. I will update as soon as I have more information.
