Loss Of Power/Boost

I know this has been addressed many times and I've tried searching but it's very difficult to do via mobile it seems. No access to a computer at the moment so I apologize for a repeat post.

I am losing power/boost after flooring it for a mile or so. After I let off and then push the pedal down again it seems as though there is no boost. If I drive it easily for a few miles it comes back online. Temps are normal. No other errors known.

When you say "temps are normal", do you mean engine temps or IAT's? Do you have a 55 (supercharged car) or a 600/65 (turbo) car?

I have a 55.

The coolant temperature gauge isn't reading higher than it normally does.

Spot on and get a nice pump for it Speedriven has a awesome pump they sell. I have it on my car with no issues and that thing runs pull after pull on the HWY like a champ.

I already ordered the Bosch one. I believe it is a stock replacement. Hopefully it holds up.

It will not hold too much. Once you do a few pulls in a row it will heat soak and shut off the supercharger. Speedriven and other aftermarket pumps circulate the fluid way faster.
