Fake CL65 Spotting
Spotted a re-badged CL500 in the Westlake Village, CA area. Black 2005 CL500 with CL65 badging and side badging.
Had stock CL500 rims, stock exhaust, etc.
LMAO.

So this guy is a total fake but thought this picture would help see how bad this car really was. I mean buy the wheels or put on the 4 exh tips... do SOMETHING to make it look like a CL65!
I waited for a second to see if the owner would come back but I was not so lucky as to tell him how nice his CL500 was. What a shame
I know the photo is terrible quality but its really not that bad for a treo 650 in the dark. A little less bi-xenon would have helped I think.

Sad.
I spotted a fake S65 AMG in Laguna Niguel, CA the other day. It was black with black rims. The badges were painted black too and slightly misplaced on the trunk. It also had black V12 Biturbo badges on the sides. No quad-exhaust tips and it had small non-AMG brake rotors. I wish I were driving the S600 when I pulled up so I could show the poser what a real Biturbo V12 will do. Had vanity plates too: "LEBON" or something.
I don't think the S65 is even available yet in the US.

Today folks I saw something even more interesting.
There is an old white guy with a big head of grey hair running around Los Angeles in a green W211 E320 Sport that says (nothing against old white guys with grey hair -- im right on my way there except I wont have any hair when i get that far into life!)
get this
E600 on the back. It even has V12 badges on the side just like an S-Class car. I could not stop laughing at him. The car was complete with ugly chrome exhaust tips and wonderful E320 brakes.
The even more interesting thing is that this guy had a W210 green E320 that had the same E600 badges on the rear. He did it twice in a row? What is this guy thinking. He was dressed to go play golf. Do his golfing buddies not see that car and break out laughing? I know that if an E600 drove up to my country club I would have trouble not laughing as he drove by.
Oh do i wish i had my camera in my hand to get a photo of that E600!

Now lets see do I walk around and take my camera out when I go to dinner? I don't think so. Maybe u in all you weird ways do that but I find it a bit tedious. Had the phone not taken a photo there would be a photo? So is something better than nothing? I will say yes but maybe im just normal.
So a phone that is small enough for a pocket that does e-mail, Internet, takes ok photos (given no flash), and makes great calls via Bluetooth sounds good to me. Next time ill post a 6-mega-pixle photo if that will make you keep your flapper shut. I bet then you will moan that the file was too large.

So photos of public areas of private property and children are pretty much bordering on illegal.
As for your 6mpx flap-shutter I think it goes with the owner.

I found a couple pics but they seem to be in a low rent apartment building parking lot. Did you drive both cars at once to your friends place?. You dont really have $300,000 in cars and live in that brown apartment complex do you? I would hate to think those bad boys would be left outside all the time like that. It could be considered 600 abuse. Iam no one to judge Iam just curious.....Thanks

Now, if I would drive it to my friends place you would see them infront of gigantic mansions surrounded by little Hondas-- because like me, my friends had to choose, and went with a house instead of cars. I might be a bit richer than the average citizen, but Im no Gates.
