GTHAUS CL65 AMG Meisterschaft Exhaust Install

Hey guys,

Recently we had a local customer come by looking to add some roar to his already alluring Mercedes CL65 AMG. We set him up with our Meisterschaft GT2 Racing axle-back system which would accentuate the already aggressive rumble that is produced by the Mercedes V12 Bi-Turbo motor. Below are some photos we took during the installation which took place here at GTHAUS.

Enjoy!

Removing the original exhaust from the vehicle..

The proper cuts were made, now it was time to start hanging the Meisterschaft GT2 exhaust system..

Making some minor adjustments to ensure a perfect fit..

And finally.. the finished product!

Nice! I love my meistershaft on my w216 550. The quality of the exhaust is unreal! The sound is even better. Truly worth the money.

Unfortunately the customer was in a hurry to pick up his car, so we didn't get any video footage. :/

They are made in Korea using T-304 Grade Stainless Steel.

I knew it was something like that. My buddy has one on his GTR and its starting to rust... Not to impressive for a exhaust that costs that much money.

We have been selling meisterschaft for 4-5 years. I can vouch for the fact that if there is an issue with the system Meisterschaft is quick to help us get the customer taken care of.

Your 94 supra is made in Japan. What's your point? Everything from china or Korea is crap? Every country can make the same quality of product. It is about materials used, manufacturing equipment, and quality control.

We have installed one on a CL600. The sound is gorgeous. It has higher pitch european tone to it with a lot of bass. Our 50+ year old customer is in love with it. PM for pricing.

What's your point with my supra...??? You make no sense. All of my aftermarket parts minus the turbo is made, tested, engineered in Japan. Its made of the highest quality material. No issues with rust on any of the parts.

A company like Meisterschaft that makes their exhausts with no R&D, copies other brands, rusts and charges insane amounts of money for their product, should be looked at as a company that should be respected?? Come on man. Use your head a little here. They might as well be called Meisterebay. Just because they have a Germanish name, all of you jump on the band wagon??? One could build a exhaust for less money using simular exhausts. As one of the posters said, Meisterschaft has always taken care of us. I seriously hope so. Its only costing them a couple hundred bucks to make the exhausts and charging a arm and a leg for them. I sure hope they replace exhausts that have problems.

Hell I'll start making exhausts out of my garage and call it Meisterhousen.

I guess since all of the parts are made and engineered in Japan it must be the best.
It must be even better since it is on a 20 year old Japanese car.

ill buy one....lol

yeah, theres no hyundai korean stuff being put on my mercs

and those prices are crazy, why not get something proper like a eisenman or somethign with some history

its like nowadays modification companies are popping up every day, be it, suspension, springs, tuning shops,.....everyone is an expert now....

it also seems like nowadays sound in more important than power ...

I'll give you both sides of the coin. Yes more products more vendors selling you parts. Better selection better pricing etc. However like said you get what you pay for. With mercedes if you want german made stick with eisenmann.

Meisterschaft is a well made product just a different option for customers.

And they do sound badass...

I attempted to get one of Meisterschaft GT for my CL63 and not only it was almost 3K, I was quoted 8-9 weeks for delivery after having to wait for ~2 weeks for the quote!
Exhaust does sound good though!
