Has anyone leased a CLA?
CLA with $41k sticker. Total out of pocket due at sigining $2,500. $400/month 12k miles per year including pre-paid maintenance for 24 months. I think this is a good deal for the CLA, but not an amazing deal compared to other models.
To put it in perspective, I leased a C250 coupe last Jan for the same terms, $43k sticker, same out of pocket and miles but it was $300/month. Incetives from MBUSA are not very good for the CLA right now. There is only $500 incentive comapred to $2,500 on C-Class. Not to mention there is no "pull ahead" for current mercedes lease to get out of their lease early without paying payments like there is on other models. He said in september they were offering 2 months pull-ahead but ditched it in october due to the massive demand.
His guess is maybe some better incentives for the winter event. I have to wait anyway since there is no pull-ahead and my lease goes until the end of the year. I hope I can get down to the same $300/month figure.

He told me there is 1 available in next week, MSRP 39k. he wants 42k ($3k over MSRP) for it. we sat down and do some calculation. I said I would like 12k miles a year, 30months. put down $5k. he came up with $720 a month. I have average credit score.
I told him I could even get E550 with that price. then he said, E class isn't hot, CLA is hot, blah blah. He even told me his cousin lease a Mini for $500 a month, MSRP for that Mini is $30k. WTF... then he ask me what do I think. I told him your cousin is idiot and walk out....
He call me back and try to talk me out for lease on C class. I told him I have 2 C class already. both were paid off with cash. reason why I want a CLA is I don't drive much any more. So lease would be better choice. after some dealing, he said maybe he could do $550 a month. I was like "what the hell, $720/month for $39k car, now $550. This guy must think I'm stupid". then I walked out.
It was just unbelievable.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

$13,500 - thirteen thousand, five hundred dollars DOWN PAYMENT
$326 a month, for 36 months?
And this is a LEASE? So in the end, the CLA will cost you $25,236 to lease for 3 years?
Double checked, it's 13k down. Yes it is expensive. I could buy it outright cash but I want to build my credit at the same time. I think the car was a little over 45k with T&L. Maybe i'm young and dumb. That's about $686 a month if it was spread out.

Next thing is profit margin which is 4.8%. That doesn't include holdback but the bottom line is there isn't a lot of money in the car for the dealer. I can't imagine a dealer cutting somebody a mega deal unless there's a trade-in where he can make it up on the back side or it's a valued customer who buys an S-class every couple of years. The C-class is amortized so there are better deals. I think it's going to be late next year before you see good lease deals because delivery on an ordered CLA is roughly four months.

I guess that's why the lease deals are the cheapest in the country right now, according to your explanation.

$15,999 single pay lease. Edition 1, 36 months, 10K miles per year, 2 year pre-paid maintenance, illuminated star installed, black wheel center caps, winter tire install and balancing. This deal also saved me the $595 disposition fee and approximately $500 in minor damage on my 2012 CLS 550 lease return.
