New A220
Picked this up over the weekend.
Has anyone found any good accessories for it yet? I did find a nice screen protector on amazon because everyone who sees the dash is obsessed with touching it.
Also does anyone know what the “charge” is on the MPG gauge? It’s kind of like this car is a hybrid, the mpgs go way up when coasting. Must be a really good fuel management system.
So so much tech in this car, having fun figuring it all out!

The only accessories I can think of are the standard tire caps since the included ones are a little low quality. I'm also looking at the motorized front license plate so as not to have to drill into the front.
It's quite an efficient engine, if I watch the gauge really carefully on highway I can average 41 mpg.

Is this the kind of accessory you're looking for?

Omg I want that lol.
So I did find a center console tray on eBay that works, and pro clip USA makes a good phone mount.
crazy story: I just had the windows tinted and the day after a rock somehow cracked my rear passenger window while on the freeway. Car is back at the dealer getting it replaced 😭

Many modern cars do not charge the battery when accelerating. That way you will have full power when needed. And of course your mileage goes way up when you are coasting. You will get over 100 mpg when going downhill.

it recharges during certain actions. Breaking, coasting down hill etc. look at the new ram e torque system. Very similar to it in design and function. Most cars are going this route now a days.

Its actually a small electric motor. Instead of a normal battery and alternator? It’s a small electric motor that also helps increase torque, shorter delay for stop and start. Its what keeps your air blowing when the car turns off

That's a sharp looking ride. Then again, I am partial to the CLS style body

Received a 2019 A Class yesterday (ordered 1/23/19 original order not received by dealer as yet but the dealer procured another vehicle for another dealer MB in my opinion will take a hit for its lack of customer communication. MB provided no specific information for the delay other that it was a parts problem and no specific delivery date until the part problem was resolved which was about two weeks ago. I seriously considered cancelling and buying an Audi or BMW although this is my 5th MB. Please share your comments and experiences. Thank you. Joe

- Perfect ergonomic seats, 12 hour drives without any issues (my old Toyota gave me a backache after 1 hour)
- Great acceleration from a small engine
- Incredible handling
- Very precise steering
- Everything within easy reach
and on and on
I guess I saw the real value on a 300 mile drive at night in pounding rain. Normally I'd be half blind, driving carefully, etc. With this car I was zipping around like it was a sunny day, so easy to control.

A220 AMG-line
White looks clean! I picked up a black one over the weekend. AMG line with a premium package and leather seats. Overall very impressed with the interior and drive. The finance dept mgr tried to pull a fast one on the lease contract...I caught it the next day, and it ruined my experience but should have expected this from car sales folks.

I received mine on 8/5/19 and I just love the car. We just returned from Maine. It is an outstanding car but MB is really dropping the ball with its long delays and lack of communication. Joe:
