lowering my clk

I may have a used set of Carlsson springs/dampers for sale. I got them from Evosport and from what I gather will not fit a CLK55. If that is indeed true, I will probably take them off. It loweres the car very nicely, not slammed, and the handling is greatly improved.

The thing that did change ride quality a bit was the 19" wheels.

I was told that if I get 19" rims my car has to be modified? Is this true? What modifications would I need to do for 19" rims? I was told I can get 18" without modification but 19" requires some sort of speed sensor to be altered or other modifications? I really have no idea so I guess I'm just wondering if I buy 19" rims what I need to do besides get some H & R springs to lower it a little.

Highly doubt it. They might make a shock and spring but not a coilover. You would have to completely reconstruct and customize your factory suspension. If you can show me someone who has it or some pics or even a link to what you have seen maybe I'll believe it.
